Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins

I guess what im looking at tonight is our 1st team defense should be able to handle their 1st team offense. Looking to see how we rush the passer and how we cover Jordan Cameron. Apparently he's been their best player on offense in camp.

No injuries, first team offense gets 10 to 14 points, pass rush continues to cause some havoc, special teams shows improvement.

Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins

Going to the game, so pretty much hoping for an enjoyable 1st half (meaning Skins scoring, D sacking/stopping them). I doubt I stay past the 3rd quarter. 6am comes to early as is...

Any Warpather's there I'll be in Section 208. Give a shout.

As for what I want to see from the team, no injuries, good decisions by RGIII, and no flags. (not much chance of that I suppose).

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Hoping to see the clean tackling continue, RG3 lead a couple of scoring drives, a good pass rush, and no injuries.

How about a season ending injury? I'd like that.

I want RGIII to look great score about 10 points, KC comes in scores about 14 & you see Kyle saying I told you give them a 2nd round pick him.

I don't think that's the plan, maybe into the middle of the 2nd quarter from what it sounded like.

After playing only one drive in the preseason opener 12 days ago, the Redskins’ starters are expected to play as much a full quarter Monday night when the Browns visit Landover, Md.

As much as a full quarter?

Christ. I have no idea why this team routinely gets preseason off. Nothing about this team shows that they don't need any extra work.

Re: Gameday Thread: Browns vs. Redskins

One qtr of work is pretty standard for the 2nd game.

It just reflects the fact that the biggest success in the preseason is surviving injuries.

Personally I like us pulling the starters before the opponent does. That way our seconds go against their firsts, our 3rds against their 4ths etc. We might lose, hopefully not, but the coaches get valuable tape to make solid evaluations.
