Re: 49ers Postgame Thread

So ultimately if RG3 bust out, are the Skins FO and management going to hold anybody responsible for trading all the picks for him?

I know in my business there is accountability, Skins management seems to be very little.

Good question! Everyone's talking about letting go Gruden or RGIII, but where is the fire under Bruce Allen? Although Shanny was in control, BA was part of the team that made it happen.

I ask this because of the recent report that RGIII's family's special privileges were revoked. While it is good that a positive change was made, who thought that giving RGIII and clan special privileges was a good idea in the first place?

I thought that Bruce was supposed to be the "professional" that kept such nonsense from happening. I thought that Bruce was supposed to be the "professional" who would realize his own limitations and hire a real GM.

As long as Snyder is in charge accountability can only be achieved through the fans. Don't buy Skins merchandise or tickets. It's that simple.

Totes! I don't get why anyone would by Redskins stuff at this point but they need to stop until Snyder gets his franchise on the right track.

C'mon people

I doubt BA created seperate rules for Griffin, that could only have come from one person.

Well, that could be. But my point remains. Bruce is supposed to be the "professional" who keeps the owner somewhat in line. He gets paid a lot of money to find solutions which keep Snyder happy but don't hurt team chemistry.

Where does it say that part of his job description is to control his boss. That is more like wishful thinking by all of us.

Re: 49ers Postgame Thread

This is what's going to happen, RG3 is going to another team next season

He'll start as backup, but end up again as a starter and 4 years from now we'll be hearing how he's leading another team to the playoffs, while we're stuck on the Snyder treadmill of mediocrity

Oh yeah, Gruden won't be here, he's 3 seasons and gone

I'd be willing to make a wager that this will NOT happen.

Re: 49ers Postgame Thread

Which part?

Our team continuing in Mediocrity and Gruden being out after three seasons

or RG3 eventually being successful at another team

The former is a certainty, the latter is debatable, but I think very possible considering our luck

Loved this quote from John Keim regarding the Boldin/Haslett incident:

Anquan Boldin on jawing with Jim Haslett: "I don't even give that a second thought. He's irrelevant."
