Re: Santana Moss
I'll be sad he's gone, if he closes to stat in the football realm after his playing days are 100% over, it'd be great to have him in the organization in some capacity. Class player that still has the fire.

Re: Santana Moss
I went to sleep with a few minutes left in that cowboy Redskin game. Only to wake up and realize we came back to win when it appeared it was good as over. Could always count on that man to be a reliable catcher, everybody has drops now and again, on third down chances are he is going to pick it up if you target him. Going to miss having him around. I hope Grant paid attention to his teachings!

Re: Santana Moss
Got to respect everything he's done for the franchise. Going to miss some of those clutch catches.

Re: Santana Moss
Especially considering the QB's he played with, I'd say Santana had a HELL of a career.

Re: Santana Moss
Moss played with so much toughness and heart, it outweighs the numbers. It bothers me to hear fellow fans talk negative of the dude. Santana will always be one of my favorite skins.

Re: Santana Moss
Currently, there are 46 members of the RoF. The receivers on the list are:
Charley Taylor Bobby Mitchell (Listed as a Flanker) Gary Clark Art Monk Wayne Millner (listed as an end) (Also, Jerry Smith, TE, is also included) Obviously, there are many on the list of "80 Greatest Redskins" who are not in the RoF. The receivers on the "80 Greatest" but not on the RoF are Roy Jefferson and Ricky Sanders (Don Warren, TE - as an aside, surprised Clint Didier not on the 80 Greatest list). So, should Santana leapfrog Jefferson and Sanders? Looking at the lists, I am not sure. the ROF is pretty exclusive, lots of HOF'ers keeping company there. In fact, you could make a case for the HOF for almost everyone on the list. While I think he is certainly on the next "80 Greatest" (or whatever number they next use), I think a case could be easily made that Santana doesn't quite make the RoF based on who is and isn't on the two lists. To me, it's really a borderline call and comes down to purely a matter of opinion.

Re: Santana Moss
Ive always liked Moss. He is a Cane and a Redskin. He is getting alot of love rite now, but man there were alot of people ragging on him for having the dropsies over the last few years. I personally always thought he was pretty sure handed. Wish i could easily dig up and repost the negative comments about him.

Santana Moss
totally - and at one point or another every player probably deserves it. Lol. I just remember being surprised at how many people were calling Moss out. Anyway I dont think you can put Moss in the ROF and not Sanders.
Edit: and i dont think either belongs |

Re: Santana Moss
If Snyder wants him in, he'll get in. Simple as that.

Re: Santana Moss
That is kinda my thinking Matty, Moss was one of Snyders guys and holds something special with the owner. He'll get in just based on the fact that the list of players during the Synder era is small that can even be considered. Samuels, Portis, ST, and Moss are the only ones I can think of the last few years who could be considered. Based on that Snyder will put a couple Of his guys in there.
