LOL.

No. Brady didn't stop the Seahawks on the goal line or this wouldn't even be in the discussion. If anything, these teams seem to gift wrap these types of games up for Tom. Wilson actually outplayed Brady that game. How about you give the Patriots defense some props. Hell, if the Seahawks run beastmode on that last play, you guys aren't even having this conversation. You would be talking about how Wilson outplayed Tom and the 2 INTs.

So Brady didnt march down the field and go 8-8 for 75 yards to win the game against a great defense? Come on man.
How about Wilson had 12 completions. Brady made a couple bad passes but picked apart one of the greatest pass defenses in history on the biggest stage in the biggest moment and cemented his place in QB Greatness whether you like it or not.
How about if a guy doesnt make a miracle catch on his back you arent even having this conversation. Lol

In the end, it was the defense that won the game, NOT Tom Brady.

Here is the thing, Tom wouldn't be a "choker" if they lost the game either. It works both ways. You guys give Tom way too much credit and discredit Belichick and that tremendous defense.

In terms of Seattle's defense. Well, they didn't help matters much giving Tom extra chances by defensive off-sides on a 3rd and 3 giving them a 1st and a TD to Gronk. Let's put this notion aside that Tom is doing is all by himself, which is pretty much what you guys want to make it out to be. Also, the Seattle DBs didn't handle the NE WRs like they did Denver's last year. Huge difference in the results as well.

.
They put a stat up last night ,
Game winning drives in Super Bowls .....

Tom Brady 4
Joe Montana 2
Eli Manning 2

Tom out played the Hawks in the first and the fourth quarters ,when it came to crunch time in the Super Bowl he shows up . I agree NE has a team with talent but it is Belichick and Brady that can get all that talent to work together and that is what the hard thing to do is, that is coaching ,getting the next player to play just like the last one, consistency and team work is coaching and many talented teams can't get that right ,to do it 4 times in what 16 years (go 6 times) they are both the greatest of all time, people need to stop hating them for being great ,root against them sure but the hate is sad .

True. But Brady has put his offense in position to win 6 Super Bowls at the end of the game. If it wasn't for two dumb face miracles he'd have them.

You mean like the tuck miracle? The snow kick miracle? The Jon Kasey kick out of bound miracle? The Vinateri kicks to win it at the last second miracle?

lol.....it's like you guys forget anything that helps Tom. It reminds me of these successful businessmen that act like they did it all on their own and had no help or "luck" along the way.

The defense did great in the 4th quarter. For three quarters that defense was mediocre at best.

They gave up more than 150 yards rushing. Wilson looked like he would never get sacked at times during that game. There was absolutely no pass rush. The picked on Arrington the entire game and the secondary looked bad outside of the 1st quarter. They gave up a touchdown in about 30 seconds right before the half which happened only once this entire season for any team in the NFL (according to Tren Dilfer), but they did step up in the 4th quarter. I agree with that.

But all of that doesn't take away how great Brady was that 4th quarter. He carried the offense that 4th quarter and looked almost perfect against one of if not the best secondaries in NFL history. That same defense that made Manning, Rogers, and Brees look like Jay Cutlers. But I guess since his name isn't Peyton Manning when he throws 4 touchdows and 350 yards the credit should actually go to the defense.

NC - this is how u broke into the convo last nite. Donofriose said Brady was top two with Montana and proved how great he was.
Your response above. You started with LOL. You say the games are gift wrapped for Tom. Nobody said that Brady won all by himself as you seem so hellbent on proving us "idiots" did. You in fact bluntly took credit away from Brady and state that he actually has NOTHING to do with it. Im not putting words in your mouth - giftwrapped the game for him - in other words - handed it to him on a silver platter. He threw 50 effing passes - completed 37? I think? - was 8-8 on the gamewinning drive! Nobody is saying he did it all. You are in fact coming across as he did nothing.

No question, Seattle defense allowed pats to comeback and win that game. Can't wait to hear the excuses by the lob
