I so agree.

I never thought Galette was bad I just know our luck and nothing like him will just fall to us without a some string attached.

Re: Junior Galette signs with Redskins (updated)

dang, I was hoping if it was just a partial tear, he might be able to return this season but it seems a partial tear takes as long as full tear or rupture.

"Of the 31 players who sustained an Achilles tendon rupture, 21 (64%) returned to play in the NFL at an average of 11 months after injury. In the three seasons following their return, those 21 players saw significant decreases in games played and power ratings compared to the three seasons preceding the injury."

Easy come, easy go. It's like he never signed here.

No, it's worse, because now we're all left wondering how good the Gallette-Kerrigan tandem would have been this season.

There's always next year, if he says how he feels about the franchise, then he will sign back with Redskins.

This franchise is like Alice in Wonderland: jam yesterday (well, in the 80s) and jam tomorrow (next year), but never jam today. Honestly, it does feel like we're cursed.

I am sure he will think highly of the franchise for stepping up to sign him amid controversy -- he's said as much. But unless either Murphy or Smith show more than they've shown so far this preseason and in TC, then it seems clear that our D just took a big hit.

Who knows if he'll be here next year, but looks like he got a two game suspension which apparently can be served while he's on IR:

Galette will probably be here next year, as he will likely be cheap again. Only way he's not here if they don't think he's worth the trouble. Still for the money he's being paid, I wouldn't mind seeing him again in the lineup.

I think this year's defense would have been much different if he is playing.
