Now that was in the spirit of VC, but this is totally different. This is Chip telling the world he can plug anybody into his system and win.

No, this is the same thing; buying a team through free agency. Murray and Maxwell were big time free agent signings (well Maxwell is being paid like a big time free agent).

And I bet that the reports are true that Kelly was trying to bet the farm to get Mariotta.

Dolphins’ loss to lowly Jaguars early sign of trouble | Miami Herald

Going off script

A big reason why: Suh, who for the second straight week was a nonfactor, strayed from Kevin Coyle’s script.

The Miami Herald has learned that Suh freelanced at times Sunday, creating confusion on the defense. By taking matters into his own hands, the Dolphins’ $114 million man took a bad situation and made it worse.

“I couldn’t tell you,” Suh said, when asked to explain his uninspired play. “At the end of the day, we have to go back to the drawing board and figure out what we want to run so guys can make plays and go from there.”

Hey, I think we've seen this first hand with over priced d tackles.

Also, does anyone else think that Kelly's scheme got figured out? There's still a ton of talent on that side of the ball. I can't imagine if Foles were there, they'd be doing any better. I know they lost Mathis, but just seems like defenses adjusted like they did against the read-option.

Rod Marinelli...this is the one guy that has always worried me on Dallas. Guy just handed Chip his ass yesterday.

Marinelli played safeties and LBs constantly on the LOS...forcing Bradford to figure it out on the passing game and effectively stuffing the run game. I dont know about figuring it out, but Dallas was just more physical and aggressive.

Bradford doesnt seem like a scheme fit at QB

Him and Sean Lee. For some reason when Lee is healthy, the WHOLE D plays better.

Lee is top level LB in the league. playmaker, volume tackler....his play "levels out" other mistakes made in the secondary.

What I have seen of Bradford in two weeks:
- His reputation of being unable to the throw the deep ball well is not undeserved.
- Give him time and short crossing routes, he can be very effective.
- Crowd him, get in his face, and mix up the D a bit and his effectiveness plummets.

Eagles O-line is nowhere near as effective as it was last year or year before.

Re: Around the NFL- Week 2

Just heard a stat - marinelli against Kellys offense allows 13 ppg, all other teams 30 ppg. He definitely has Chippers number.

Aaron Rodgers of Green Bay Packers takes apparent shot at Seattle Seahawks QB Russell Wilson

This made me laugh. Not at the sour grapes that Rodgers has but because of the absurdity of a deity caring about the outcome of a foosball game.

Here are the 35 NFL players with more rushing yards than Eagles - CBSSports.com

I love that Shady is on this list at #11 and even better, both our RBs are on this list pretty high up

The Governor of The State of Texas wants The Cowboys to sign Tim Tebow. This is why Politics and football should not mix.

Not trying to make this political, but Greg Abbott is a sandwich short of a picnic. This is a guy who killed a mental health bill because Scientologists told him doctors would use it as an excuse to seize people off the streets and perform experiments on them. He also called up the Texas National Guard to prevent the US Army from taking control of Texas to declare martial law.
