Re: Around the NFL - Week 10

If the Pats take care of the NYG this will be a very productive Sunday. Being the only team in the division to win is great!

The only way this day gets better is if NE beats the gints. Let's go Pats!

Going into today's game Peyton Manning is leading the NFL in interceptions. Today in the 2nd quarter the has already thrown three interceptions. KC 16 - Den 0

Well surprisingly (to some people) the Pats didn't play very well last week.

I dont think the Pats are unbeatable, and i am not surprised the Gints are moving the ball but Brady and the O look like shit and this Giants D isnt exactly Strahan n Co.

Manning? ROFL 5/20 for 35 yards and 3 INTs with a 0.0 rating with 9mins left in the 3rd. Wow. Probably time to hang it up.

edit: make that 4 ints now

edit2: ...and now he's benched for Brock

Never thought I would say the day that one of the top 5 greatest qbs to ever play the game would get pulled for brock... while his team is in prime position for a super bowl too.

It's also funny to see that Denver defense become leaky once the offense struggles. There is a correlation.

Broncos defense is carrying them big time. Manning should've hung it up last year while people would remember him playing his last season and being great.

Instead his last season is going to end up being infamous. Shit, Cousins has been doing better than him this season. And we are known for vehemently shitting on him, wonder what we'd be like around here if Manning was our QB this season.

Its just another athlete that tried to hang on to long. It really wont mean anything in the long run. He is still a HOFer and that wont change because he stayed to long.

Manning has been done since 2nd half last year. He's the reason a darn good football roster and team will not contend for Super Bowl

Well he is all banged up. However no team with Brock Osweiler at the helm is contending for a Super Bowl.

banged up is an excuse, he hasn't had an arm since surgery and it's deteriorated so bad that he gets his receivers killed.

And yeah I wasn't saying osweiler would lead them, just that it's ironic that now they have the team but no QB whereas in his 1st couple years in Denver he didn't have the defense to win.

It seems they have tried to get away from manning offense this season...problem is he just isn't good enough anymore to be playing. His numbers are towards bottom of all starting QBs...if his name wasn't manning...
