Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread
Hate that shit.
Dallas has a good D. We haven't beaten a team with a very good D this year. Couldn't run it and had to throw quick. That said, Kirk missed some open ones. He didn't throw a pick, though. Our D wasn't bad, I thought. Gave the O lots of chances. They were only let down by specials and DJackass at the end there. Still, it was a long FG on Fed Ex "grass". Whatever. I can hardly say this is worse than last year at this time. Just keep getting better and have another couple of McLovin drafts. It will come. And FUCK DALLAS AND FUCK THE REFS.

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread
Dear God,could please give back all of these years I have wasted rooting for this team. Confession of a sinner and Redskins fan, which considering the pain of the later may be synonymous. How much suffering does a fan have to go through? Even drinking doesn't take away the sting of this loss, what a kick in the teeth!

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread
I think there is an easy explanation.
We're starting two guys at LG and C who are replacement level guys with very little experience. The reason Dallas blitzed so much was to take advantage of that and it worked. Plain and simple we couldn't do anything because we had one TE active and a below average line that couldn't handle a scheme they didn't prepare for based on tape. That severely limited our playbook pretty quickly and here we are. |

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread
I can live with a monster defensive game affecting our scheme. I can live with a missed fg. I can live with bad calls. I cannot live with what djax did. The fumble is the least of it. He ran 23 YARDS IN THE WRONG DIRECTION! There was time for us to move into fg range and salt the clock away and win it. I really think SM needs to just cut his ass and make a bold statement. If he gets injured again i would not even hesitate to do it.

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread
Should never have come down to that. Three TO's. Two on their side of the field. No TD's out of any of them. No answer for the pressure Dallas brought.
Marinelli just pantsed Gruden and McVay on national TV.

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread
Injuries to the TE have caught up with us, to some degree. If we had reed, paulson, and paul I think things look pretty different up front. Plus the O-line injuries. Still, gotta make em pay for the blitz and we never did.
Sean Lee is good.

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread
Everyone needs to go back and look at the "pressure" that we supposedly couldn't handle. We handled it after the first two drives. The blitzies didn't consistently get home and Cousins got the ball out. But we couldn't run the ball to back it off and open up our game. Running the ball is simply broken for some reason. I think we're really hamstrung at lg and c.

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread
Agreed. Foster was all over the place. Any other team and this loss is less upsetting. Penalties, shit calls and just random karma left points off the board. This is an old Redskins loss. We're still getting better, but fuck, this one stings. So many things we could have done. Kind of feels like the Patriots/Eagles game.

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread
We couldn't beat a 3-8 team at home, qb'd by Matt Cassell, that committed 3 turnovers!!!!
Yep, doesn't get more pathetic than that. We just never can make consistent progress. Nothing ever changes. We clean the sheets and make the bed then shit our boxers the first night.

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread
We are just not good and if we made the playoffs it would be a hollow victory because we wouldn't do anything. Honestly losing to the Cowboys upsets me more than if we miss out on the playoffs

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread
I thought I heard several hard counts. Gotta give dallas' d credit, ours too actually. I thought our offense was finding a rhythm but they couldn't get in the endzone. That was bad play calling

Re: F$ck Dallas! Game thread
Gruden just said in the press conference he doesn't regret putting Jackson back there for the pot. How the fuck do you not regret that? What a dumbass

Obviously I meant to say Punt but I think both Jackson and Gruden must've been on the pot
