we don't, and I guess this thread has really kind of run it's course. Fact is, CNN, WP, NYT used to be touted as the gold standard of journalism, but it seems everyone acknowledges that at this point every media outlet has a preferred bias and since we know that we can account for it.

I just don't think the "gold standard" guys acknowledge it.

Idk, I disagree with most of his decisions but not this one. Pakistan can't have it both ways, we give them hella amounts of funds and it's not exactly a secret they harbor terrorists. Saudi Arabia too. Obama gave them a warning but it obviously wasn't good enough, for once I hope Trump is ballsy enough to follow through with his threats. Yeah I know with all the political instability it might not be wise to threaten the gov't which owns our main route into Afghanistan, but something's gotta give.

Actually I saw that several times on Fox and even more on CNN and msnbc. I do think there is a bit of a difference from a senator who was in very much the same position both times and a civilian critique looking in from the outside. But yes Trump did criticize Obama. Shocking.

Me too, I wasn't paying attention.


I will agree with you but all so I just don't listen to any of that stuff,I don't listen to the radio in that sense. I do my Pandora and my Satellite Radio with my set stations, 60's,70's,Little Steven's Underground Garage the Bridge and the Springsteen channel and believe it or not a little classical every once in a while. For Christmas I was given a very cool stereo where I can play all my old LP's and put them on CD's,point being I really don't listen to anything the Grammy's cover anymore.
