Re: Dallas Week!

After watching last nights game i think forte would have been a nice addition to this season. Shame we let him slip by.

Seems like the NFL tries to de value guys once they turn 30. Especially rb's. Forte obviously has plenty left in the tank. He also could have provided some veteran leadership.

Re: Dallas Week!

Let's see how Forte holds up, they're going to grind him into the ground at this pace.

Doesn't mean would have. Could have been a Jones and Forte backfield combo.

Re: Dallas Week!

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...actice-friday/

Trent sat out of practice today. With him seemingly playing injured all of last year and not starting off healthy this year .. I wonder whether he might do a Patrick Willis and just retire at 30 (he is currently 27). Officially listed as questionable since there is no probable category anymore.

Will Compton was on radio today, said one of the reasons for the 5 false starts from multiple lineman last week may have been bc Cousins rhythm calling "hut" may have been off. Kinda hard to describe in written word vs hearing Compton saying it but he said the center usually starts snapping on "set" and not waiting for "hut" and Cousins seemed to start to say "seeeeeeeeeet" bc Cousins would be looking for pressure and that half second long draw out causes the O line guys to go a half second early bc they dont anticipate a drawn out "seeet".

I do believe that the 5 false starts were, in part, do to such limited 1st team rep time in Pre season.

If we slow down the run game: Redskins 28 Cowboys 14
If we don't: Cowboys 27 Redskins 20

Re: Dallas Week!

We don't have a defense that will be able to stop the run or the pass. Cousins might have reverted to a turnover machine again. Too early to tell. This will be a close game for sure, a real nail biter. Only way we can when is if we can put up 24 points and control the time of possession. If we rely on the defense to preserve a win, we're done for

Re: Dallas Week!

Man my stomach is in knots. I know this is only week 2, but a lose here this season could spiral out of control. Moreover, i don't think I can handle all the Dak Prescott jock sniffing it the cowgirls win..

Every scenario where the cowboys wins makes me wanna vomit:

Prescott big game -media is all over his greatness

Morris runs over us -local media fries the skins all week

Elliot and Prescott lead the win -Dallas has its new triplets...
