Just tired of it. My colleagues and I have not been doing this for our entire professional careers to get shit on because you (not you specifically) don't like the message. People have no idea how many sources are vetted and gone through over days, weeks, sometimes even months before stories are shared. How many times we use the term "personal matters" knowing full well what the specifics of it are, but we don't out of an understanding with the team. The media and pro sports teams have a mutually beneficial relationship and, speaking on behalf of the media side, we actually prefer when teams do well. The Redskins repeatedly fail to get this

Cooley should have kept his mouth shut...u just can't do what he did. Just think, give me one positive outcome from his statement...there isn't one. completely dysfunctional, a redskin employee goes on the radio and says that. No good outcome, so Cooley actions were not right regardless

I agree, Cooley should have been suspended or given the boot. He started this, but what was his motive? The Redskins Organization is pathetic in terns of professionalism and just common sense.

Whenever there is an opportunity to be professional, the Redskins usually pick the opposite. I don't care what the truth of the McLoughan absence is, it's the way they talk down to everyone with the information they hand out. CC has not made his post-playing media career out of saying crazy things and making bs hot takes. He said what he said because he had reason to believe it was true based on either direct knowledge or enough contextual knowledge to put together pieces. At the absolute least he has a far better understanding of the people and dynamics of the situation and made an educated guess. Is there anyone who doesn't think SM is drying out at this point? Can't everyone just sort of accept that and move ? Why do we need to know the exact nature of his absence?

All I do besides work is drink beer and watch sports. If Bruce Allen has that much pull over the GM he should just be the GM. Who else is going to want to come in if GM is just a title but Allen still calls all the shots.

Truth is there are probably only 4 people that really know whats going on with Scott..it is Snyder,Allen,Gruden and Scott. same with Cousins . we will know when we know.

Many of these folks probably have good reason to dislike the Danny, goodness knows he brought much of this on himself.

But seriously, the guy hasn't been visible for 2-3 years & yet all these "butt hurt" reporters keep jabbing.

At the end of the day, I personally don't care if there is dysfunction. There's been plenty of dysfunction in Dallas for years & one great draft later, everyone is happy.

Who's to blame for the meh drafts, free agent busts and the Cousins contract screw up? Where's the proof that Scot is somehow indispensable and all hell will break loose if he departs?

I like the idea of a competent "football guy" GM as much as the next Skins fan, but what exactly has Scot done? And what IF he's a mess personally and can't keep his act together?
