So Jay Gruden benched Norman in the first series of the half to cool him off, but won't bench M. Nicholson who f'ed up in so many ways (in a game that a lot of players f'ed up).

Is Doctson's contract up next season or after this season? I simply wouldn't resign him.

Josh Norman has to go next year, use the money on Scherff. Draft a QB, WR, CB, LG.

I think that is a no brainer, even for our FO. The guy was overrated in my opinion and did nothing to really deserve such a lofty contract in light of his performance with us. He was a product of the overall excellence of the Panther defense and not individually as great as hyped.

God, I can't believe that Gruden was smiling at the post game presser at all. You just got your ass kicked and were completely outcoached and outgunned as a result of that. I mean how can anyone care when these guys don't seem to care win or lose. If I messed up that bad on my job, that would probably mean I cost my company thousands of dollars in part claims and my ass would be out of there. These guys are all smiles, when a good CFB team could have smoked them.

This team is still a goddamn embarrassment. What a bunch of fucking losers. And I'm dead sober, not 1 beer. Gruden is a fucking bum. That fucking guy couldn't get a dog excited about a lamb bone. Him and Manusky are perfect for each other. We still suck.

Win a game, lose to the sorry ass Colts. Win a game, have a bye week, and still get ass pounded on national tv yet again. We will never win shit with this loser coaching us. 9-7 was our magical season.

Re: Post Dumpster Fire...er Skins vs. Saints Thread

I remember hearing before the season that Alex Smith's best seasons were after he'd been with a team for 4-5 years and it could take time for him to get on the same page as his receivers. Maybe that's what we're seeing. Could be things get better this year. Could be they don't. Could be they draft a QB to groom behind him for a couple years after this season. All I know for sure is that was the worst game of quarterbacking I've seen on this team in many years. Maybe some of the rhythm he developed with the WRs late will carry over to next week. If the rest of the NFC East weren't so bad, I'd have seen enough of this team to stop paying attention so closely this season. The D is ok, but not good enough yet to carry a team with a one dimensional offense. We could still win the division, but wild card is not likely and no chance we'd get past first round anyway.

60% of the time a Gruden led team plays like pussies under the bright lights every time. What the fuck did Gruden and Manusky do during the bye week? Play tiddlywinks?

Jay Gruden: “the team played poorly. That’s a reflection of myself.”

The Redskins played one of their worst all-around games in the Jay Gruden era in losing to the Saints. They couldn't run the ball; they blew too many coverages and committed bad penalties in the first half. Quarterback Alex Smith was not good and his protection was bad, too. The Redskins at 2-2 still have plenty of time left, but they must provide more proof that they can become a good team.

Can't get above 8 and 8 if you can't win 2 in a row. Gruden just can't get this team ready to play on a week to week basis. So damn frustrating.

Negatives:
Our Head Coach in a huge way. Completely out of his league.
Our offense.
Our defense.
Our Front Office.
Our Stadium.
Our Past.
Our Present.
Our Future.
Our quarterback.

Positives:
Usually I can find some sort of silver lining once the dust settles after a loss. I cannot though. Allen n Payne should be good for years? We will fuck that up somehow somewhere down the road.
I mean the Saints squeaked out victories over the Browns and Falcons. I know i know the Browns are not that bad. Lol. The Giants played them harder than us too. This Saints team is good but we made them look like the team of the decade. It is painfully obvious that our HC and his entire staff need to go next year. That is not a knee jerk reaction- we have all known Jay is out of his league for quite some time. Josh Norman gtfo of town. He might be the most overrated player in all of sports. AP? The guy is on the verge of retirement. Our o line is not good. At all. There is absolutely nothing to hang our hat on except a couple of d linemen and Scherff. Three players. Lol.

I still don't understand why they have Norman all that dough. They don't want to pay a good QB but you pay a corner who can't cover fast wr's. Even after Haynesworth we still fuck up in free agency.
