Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
I have not really seen the Giants play this year. Is Eli that bad or does he not have any help?

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
From what I gather, is a combination of Eli being bad and their o-line being worst.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
Both, Eli is done but his line has not helped him out. Nate Solder hasn't lived up to the signing either

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
Giants are going to hit a few big plays in the passing game. Looks like Stroman will be back out there, plus Fabian, they're getting toasted. Plus Barkley can be split out and we don't have a LB who can cover him. Question is can we hit some?

Not sure we'll need to hit any big ones. Peterson might go for five yards a carry and we might win the TOP battle 35 - 25. Screen pass to Thompson goes for a TD, Reed for a TD in the red zone, and Peterson runs one in. We win 24-20

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
The Redskins remaining opponents have a combined winning percentage of .391...Predict the Redskins win/loss record after 16 games.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
5 of those games are against division opponents where season records mean less. Houston just put 42 on miami and the afc south has been strong against the nfc east. Our 4 early wins help, but i see us ending with 9 wins, less if our second half issues continue on offense

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
Per cbssports.com:
Giants holding a fire sale "La Canfora reports the Eli Apple deal was just the "tip of the iceberg" for New York, and the Giants could ultimately set up shop on the side of the Turnpike and try to dump off as many players as possible." This makes me wonder about the Giants' players state of mind going into Sunday's game. |

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
I'm only concerned about how we play and not about the schedule. Right now, the Skins have not shown that they can be consistent enough win 11 games. All of this talk of winning 11 games will vanish if we lose to the Giants tomorrow.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
From that standpoint the Redskins doesn't look like an 11 wins team, I agree.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
Add to that a big part of 4-2 are back to back wins where the outcome was in doubt down to the final seconds and the offense is relying quite a bit on a 33 year old running back.

Re: Giants Pre Game Thread (Version1)
a healthy Chris Thompson makes all the difference, big reason we tanked end of last year. hope he can rev up the offense
