The fact that Gruden said there has been no communication about the future does seem to say that some thing is going on, or it means the Skins have slipped into some realm of dysfunction the NFL has never seen. BOTH options seem on the table

If Snyder is planning to make changes, he’d better hurry up. The available pool of GMs, head coaches, and assistants is only going to get smaller

Re: Time to clean house 1.0.

I said it earlier today, but I think Gibbs and Snyder are working on a buyout. Not a complete selling of the team, but Gibbs becomes the majority owner, and Snyder et al take on a minority position. (Unless Gibbs has the financial wherewithal to do a full buyout). I think that is the only thing that makes sense, when you add the story about DS' obliviousness, the complete silence on all fronts about any possible changes at any level, and the delay in reasonable actions.

Of course this is pie in the sky wishful thinking...

Yeah. Google tells me that Gibbs net worth is $60 million. He would only need to come up with about 3 billion more.

but what if Bezos funded it????

Bezos and Gibbs were listed separately in a Forbes article about the Panthers sale, Bezos owns the Washington Post, Gibbs would be the Face of the Franchise Owner (or GM)

HMMMMM????

Jeff Bezos: The Amazon founder is now the richest person on the planet at $99.8 billion as of Monday morning. Bezos has not expressed interest in buying a pro sports team but could certainly afford it and has made outside the box investments like his purchase of the Washington Post. Bezos could be an invaluable resource to the NFL as it sorts out its future streaming options for its games.

Joe Gibbs: The Hall of Fame football coach is a local and well-liked, but doesn't have the funds to headline a bid. He is also 77 years old and still busy with his Nascar squad.

A. Jeff Bezos would never enter an ownership group, he could buy the Redskins outright.

B. Jeff Bezos according to Google makes roughly 275 mil a day, so he could buy the Redskins on about 10 days salary.

C. Why would Bezos want to be part of an ownership group when he doesn't need to be?

D. Would you really want Jeff frickin' Bezos as your majority owner? I'm not convinced he'd be any better than Snyder.

Majority owner? How much dough do you think Gibbs has?

A quick google search says his net worth is $60M. That’s not enough to put him in the ballgame by a long shot.
