Re: Week 1 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
My post thoughts are there's no way we're beating the Cowboys.

I disagree with this. He’ll win 4 games this year and get fired.

Re: Week 1 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
Cole Holcomb and Terry McLaurin nice performances today. Case Keenum played as well as anybody could today...man that overthrow to T Mac in the second half hurt...could have changed the game. I thought against a tough dline, the Oline held up pretty well.
Pretty underwhelming performance by Guice. AP gets those tougher yards against good defenses. The left side didn’t run block well...and Moses was really fucking up alot

Re: Week 1 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
Sad part is, if u would have told me that Case would have a career day and Terry would go for 100 and a TD , I'd say we win... Jay sucks

Re: Week 1 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
This is a classic example of how stats are misleading. Yes we racked up a lot of passing yards but could not muster a single first down when it was badly needed. The TOP at one point in the 2nd half was Eagles 20 and the Skins 6. They literally had the ball the entire half.

Re: Week 1 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
Positives:
-Norman's acting career. Getting a holding call on that goal line stance in the 4th (maybe 3rd?) shows his Dancing with the Stars performance was no fluke -Vegas point spread. A lot of people, not just here in fandom, were making a big deal about hte size of the spread. Redskins showed the nation it was exactly where it should be. -Cooley taking subtle digs at Alex Smith. When the game was 32-20 and there was basically two minutes left Cooley commented on how people were making a big deal about Keenum's interception stats but said he will at least lose trying to win the game throwing down the field and we will not see a bunch of check downs. That comment made me chuckle. Negatives: -Defensive line depth. Thought this was suppossed to be a strength. Allen goes out and the entire D fell apart. That has me a bit concerned. |

Re: Week 1 Loss - Post Thoughts Here
New year same Redskins, same Gruden, same mistakes.Having Peterson inactive made no sense to me,who was Guices backup? Was Marshal active? Pass blocking was decent but run blocking was awful, and Guice wasnt much better. I would bet that even when we were up 17-0 no one here was comfortable, because we know the skins.
We were outgained 279 yards to 30 in 2nd half till that last meaningless drive, pitiful. DeSean made the defense look like fools,we couldn’t cover him
