For me it's

Tier 1
1. Allen Robinson
2. Corey Davis
3. Chris Godwin

Tier 2
4. Will Fuller
5. Kenny Golladay
6. Curtis Samuel

Otherwise I'm out.

I'd switch Davis with Golladay, otherwise I agree with this.

If we spend big money, then Allen Robinson would be my choice.

Godwin, golladay are mostly slot guys, I’m not paying big money to them.

Fuller injury history and now steroid suspension makes him absolutely untouchable.

Corey Davis is meh to me, I wouldn’t give him big money.

Samual is a guy who we saw just last week playing all over the field and making big plays. He can play inside and out, plus he is fast. He will be much more affordable than the guys above him

Marvin Jones wouldn’t be a bad singing either. He will be affordable. You probably could sign Samuel and Jones for what you pay Robinson

Yep, forgot about that. I'm striking him from my list.

Tier 1
1. Allen Robinson - 1,213 yds / 6 TDs
2. Corey Davis - 945 yds/ 5 TDs (with AJ Brown on the other side)
3. Chris Godwin - 707 yds / 5 TDs

Tier 2
4. Kenny Golladay - 338 yds / 2 TDs (injured)
5. Curtis Samuel - 733 yards / 3 TDs

I would definitely go after one of these dudes. Kelvin Harmon is still in the mix, AAG, Cam Sims...draft a WR + McLaurin - could be a strong WR group next year if you do.

Re: The Too Soon 2021 NFL Draft Thread

Allen Robinson impressed me this season. He wound up on my fantasy team, and no matter what the nagging injury was, this dude showed up and played ... and played well. And that's with up-and-down QB play in Chitown too.

Having him opposite Terry would be very nice.

But ...

I bet Samuel gets a long look. I assume he has history with Rivera and Turner. His versatility would add to the offensive dimensions that Gibson, McKissic, and Logan Thomas have all shown this year.

I think he's a perfect fit with Terry. He is #1 on my FA dream list. He is under-appreciated.

Re: The Too Soon 2021 NFL Draft Thread

I would be thrilled if we got Samuel, assuming the price is right. He's young, solid and dependable. Def a fan of that idea more than going after a guy like Allen Robinson. No high priced free agents. We got plenty of our own guys that deserve long term deals.

Well with this QB carousel we had this year, the team is only 10 points away from being a 10 win team. I don't think you need to add a massive contract and give away players / picks to get someone that will be a significant upgrade.

One option I would explore is taking a look at CJ Beathard as a stop gap, if we have to draft in the 19th and up positions. He was a 3rd round pick by boy genius Shanarat and has gotten better over the years. He will be a FA this offseason, we can draft someone like Trask or Jones in the 2nd round and give him a year to develop.

Very interested to see how high both of these guys go. I feel like 19 is too high for either but also wouldn't be upset with either at 19 if we picked them.

I don't think either one will be around at our pick in the 2nd round.

Here's a list of 2021 QB prospects per Jordan Reid. Some interesting prospects:

In the Pos+ select QB to see only the QB's

Desmond Ridder could be an intriguing option that's growing on me, here are a couple of articles on him. We can watch him action on the Peach Bowl this Friday.

I would take out Trask and put in Jones. If we could go QB, TE and WR and have all 3 be good enough to start that would be so good.

With the year Jones has had he is going to go in the 1st. His ball placement and accuracy have been as good as anyone in college. But he just doesn't have that mobility that we are seeing in today's QB's. He reminds me of a Matt Ryan type. Probably good enough to start at some point, maybe right away, but will never be an elite player.
