Watch at 2:15.
![]() Love these comments: Ref:I need the ball Smith: it’s special I’m keeping it Ref: how is it special you got sacked Smith: You wouldn’t get it ------------------------------ Coach: You can't take a sack, no timeouts Alex: Watch this ------------------------------ This man actually is smarter than the whole jets and falcons teams combined ------------------------------ Commenators: Smith is sacked! Washington has no time outs! Alex Smith: Yes we do. *Takes the ball off the field See? ------------------------------ The NFL was probably pissed that they are about to make the "Alex Smith Rule"

This should be known as the "K-Ball Game".
Smith had to know exactly how it would go because my first reaction would be to call Delay of Game against us.

Re: Best win in a long time against all odds post game thread
The offense in the first half was stagnant. 91 total yards and 2 first downs total prior to the FG drive. Subjective on whether we still win if we go into the half 0-14 but the offense was struggling.
---- trap = house .. because technically it was in pittsburgh. got it. Last edited by SunnySide; 12-08-2020 at 11:06 AM. |

Re: Best win in a long time against all odds post game thread
Both offenses were struggling - 9 punts and two turnovers on downs. Pitt managed to put together that one 14-play 70+ yard drive for a TD, and then had a quick one-play 50 yard score where Fuller and Everett both should have made the tackle.

To be expected losing your #1 RB on his second carry of the game.

Yes!! I want to see him produce, we need another weapon.
Asked a lot about Antonio Gandy-Golden. Wash hopeful he can start practicing Thursday. WR has been on IR with a hamstring injury.

Re: Best win in a long time against all odds post game thread
Ive found nothing on Gibsons injury so far. RR in his post game last night said he hadnt talked to trainer yet. Doesnt RR normally do a 10:30 am zoom day after game? perhaps thats changed since this wasnt a Sunday 1 pm kickoff.
edit -- he did a 10:30 zoom, heres the youtube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ edit - 8:51 min mark, RR is asked about Gibson but he says he intentionally doesnt speak w trainers until after the next day press conf so he doesnt have any info to give. |
