That was the knock on TH. Id still give him a shot. If we could somehow do it on the cheap. Low risk high reward.

At all.
Tyrod is who I wanted this past off season. He's had a bit of bad luck, but I think he would have been better than Fitz.

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke

I don't believe any decent QB would be willing to come here by free agency or trade...other than maybe Cam, and if that happened I think I'd seriously check out on the team. Maybe a Mariota or Trubisky but no one like Watson, Carr, Wilson, etc. I think it's going to be draft or bust for them...they may have to trade up to get one if there IS one they really like. And if that's the case, then Ron HAS to be all in on Turner...because they'll be tied together and have to make it work.

Yeah and The Viks will most likely extend Kirk since they clearly see how bad the QB play is league wide

The KC situation is what happens when you have non football guys making football related decisions. Also worth nothing that McClueless wasn't a big fan of him either. What a waste that drunk's time turned out to be here.

Re: Taylor Effing Heinicke

My prediction is when Ron is faced with this decision he probably will bring Cam back which may just be the last straw with this org

Ron has passed over Cam multiple times now. It's probably never going to happen.

The texans love Tyrod , they won't let him go. He'll be their QB2 soon

Good points on the shotgun frequency - a lot of short qbs ran a lot from under center but were more experienced so i feel all of that.

Pre season I was like "man we gotta take advantage of this window our DL on rookie contracts are giving us, window is next 2-3 years"

Now?

Target who you think is the best QB prospect and do whatever you have to do to draft him. If he stinks, use next years top pick on a QB.

We arent a vet QB away anymore with this defense.

When healthy though, our offense with a good QB could potentially overcome this defense though.
