Re: Predicting the final 53
Definitely not a surprise to me. Many of us were high on him when he was drafted, but he has mainly been a huge disappointment ever since. Rivera gave him an opportunity last year and he didn't seize it.

At this point it definitely looks good for Milne and Forrest. Maybe they keep 4 TEs?, an extra O-lineman (Ismael), D-line (Bada)...? Probably one of these three... |

4 TEs? I'm not even sure I know the name of 4 TEs on this team. Well technically I do but have no idea how good Ricky Seal Jones is. Keeping Ismael would indeed make sense, may still turn into a quality back up center. I don't know about Bada, we keep saying his name because he flashed in the third pre-season game, but one thing we're learning tonight is pre-season doesn't teach us a lot. Coaches make decision based on what they see in camp more than those games, unless there's a huge surprise of a guy rising/collapsing to game-like pressure. So don't know if his pre-season sack is enough to earn him a spot, while we have an extra "international" practice squad spot waiting for him...

John Keim
@john_keim · 1m Per source: TE Sammis Reyes and CB Troy Apke will be on Washington's 53-man roster. |

Predicting the final 53
I really thought Moreland, AGG, and Reaves would be safe. I know Apke is fast but he is terrible and coverage and offers no flexibility to the team.
Looks like Dax makes the team if AGG is gone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Predicting the final 53
Stroman, Johnson, Reaves, and Moreland - that’s a lot of guys from our secondary last year who were axed.
At least Moreland and Reaves will be signed elsewhere I’ll bet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Predicting the final 53
Need for a vet outside corner just became a huge need.
We should have some decent options. ------------------------- https://www.nfl.com/news/player-cuts...or-2021-season ^^ live list of cuts per team .. doesnt have Moreland updated so it might be going by official team statements and not beat reporters |

Re: Predicting the final 53
Interesting to see what happens to Daryl Roberts.
Barber will be back on the 53 soon, he is an easy waive and pickup that talking heads had been thinking this would happen. It is clear they still need him for the short yardage game |

Surprised that they don't stick some of these guys on IR for the year.

Re: Predicting the final 53
True of course, I hadn't thought about that. But with the likes of Moreland and AGG likely going to get picked up on waivers it would hardly break the bank to keep them around a year on IR to see if they can get better. Most of the others are going to be available to sign to the PS. I suppose that they just don't think they can play at a high enough level. I would have liked to at least have gotten a couple of late round picks in return. Hate wasting mid round picks. For every Cole Holcomb and Matt Ionnidis there has to be an AGG or Wes Martin I suppose

Re: Predicting the final 53
Wonder if we will try to sign AGG to practice squad? I thought he finally showed some progress in the last 2 preseason games, but perhaps it wasn't enough for the coaches.
