Re: Giants postgame
Don't let the Heinicke ride distract you from the fact we needed 1 phantom holding call, 1 dropped TD, and 2 offsides on the final drive to win it.

And for me no way that's a hold. Keeps WJ3 in front of him, hands inside, driving him forward. Would be different if William was making an obvious effort to go for the tackle and being restricted. But if that's a hold you can flag 100% of running plays.

Won't argue back and forth about it forever, I'll just say as a ref I am never throwing this flag, because by the philosophy of the rule this is not a foul, the defender is cleanly getting beaten on the block, the grab doesn't prevent him from making any play, doesn't bring him in another direction than the one he is going, he's not shedding that block whatsoever.

Re: Giants postgame
That was definitely a weak ass call. We caught a break on that one.

Wow! One helluva game. Glad I watched it sober.

So many things to be mad about but a w is a w. I am pounding a beer, taking two sleeping pills and going to bed.

I'm starting to move over to your side about Chase. He better start going nuts immediately.

Re: Giants postgame
Interesting take by the big ole white dude in the post game show, that is a former player, but I can't think of his name.
He was talking about Barkley and about how much time you can wait for him to get comfortable. And he was emphasizing the new rules where physical practice is way more limited, etc. Knocking rust off needs a lot more actual game plays. Basically, it's way harder to hit the ground running nowadays, coming off a major injury. I understand limiting offseason practice, etc., but there are 2 sides to every coin.
