Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
Did the Ravens sell Jerseys of Jim Brown before Cleveland started a team again? Do the Titans sell Warren Moon or Earl Campbell jerseys?

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
The point is that no other team is dealing/has dealt with a situation like Washingtons. The team has not relocated, and the name change was essentially forced. I would have preferred that maybe they just offered some throwback like jerseys for the legends (i.e. no logos) but I can't fault them for trying to tie in some legends to this new brand.

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
I think Jason Wright is a liar.....they knew all along what the team name was going to be.....they never took into consideration what the fans wanted......the rest of it was nothing but hype.....

Heck this surprises you? Retiring the name in the first place was throwing the fans and even Native American(91%) wishes under the bus.

Jason Wright is learning what everyone who works for Snyder has learned: You are basically nothing more than a prop. Danny makes all the decisions and they are all bad. Hopefully, JW is already planning his next move lest he end up like Vinny or Bruce. |

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
The thing that bugs me about the new W helmet logo is how generic it is. Like Commanders is so generic there isn't a single image they could find that would adequately represent the name. And the W has no flair to it at all - it's just a basic W. I think it definitely needs improvement.

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
Personally I'd have used a stylised C logo if it could be gotten away with, like this:https://image.shutterstock.com/shutt...-474916537.jpg
But I suppose there's the Bears with a C logo so that would be out. Maybe it is just a matter of getting used to the new name etc. |

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
I know we've seen a hundred different fan-made redesigns of the uniforms at this point but these look really really good.

Re: Welcome your Washington Commanders
Honestly I've had enough of the fan designs already. Some are pretty cool, some are trash, but we're locked into the current uniforms for 5 years so what's the point.
