Re: Super Bowl Week

I think the Rams are way overrated.

Re: Super Bowl Week

Very exciting match up both from football's and narrative's standpoints IMO.
You have to love the underdog nobody saw coming Burrow led young team story. But I'd be so happy for both Stafford for finally proving how clutch he can be and McVay for getting a ring.

Footballwise, hard to count the Bengals out when you witnessed what they did during the playoffs. And I like their defense.
But their Oline is the weak link of the team, and I don't know how much they can scheme around it facing Aaron Donald, Von Miller and this Rams DL. Some seem to think it's easy to neutralize Donald, but he's a monster, and if you double/triple team him like the niners did, you open a lot of opportunities for the rest of them.

I think a lot of it comes down to does being the heavy favorite screws McVay and the Rams' mindset. If they come out hungry with something to prove, they sure have the tools to make the statement they haven't made so far in the playoffs.

Should be a fun one to watch.

Re: Super Bowl Week

Rams got beat by NE 2 years ago, McVay wants it bad, Bengals OL is terrible, their D lacks depth and an injury to a key player would ruin their day. Taking McVay, O’Connell and the Rams.

All signs point towards LA but there is something special about #9 in Orange and black

Re: Super Bowl Week

East Coast time is absolutely atrocious for football. Been up for 6 hours and still have 6 hours to go.

Per Rap Sheet

The packers and AR are close to a contract extension worth 90M for 2 years.

Well that will definitely help AR bring in the high-end talent that will help him win another title or two.

Ya boy seems like he's cashing out - trying to make the most coin he can before he retires in a couple years.

Re: Super Bowl Week

Stafford was the only captain for the Rams, isn't that weird?

Also, one can only hope the nfl forces Snyder to sell.

Yeah, by rule you just have to send one captain, but I thought that was weird too ... Even felt it was a little disrespectful. But the Rams seem to have the right mindset so far.
