Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
He was 27 td’s 7 int’s last year. Not alot of yards, but the colts were clearly a run first team.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
Cap hit
28M 2022 (6.2 bonus) 26M 2023 (6.1 bonus .. 12.2 dead cap if cut) 27M 2024 (6.1 bonus ... 6.1 dead cap) https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/washingt...ders/cap/2023/ Wouldnt be surprised if the colts eat some of the 2022 bonus money I feel like we overpaid as the colts are just happy to get rid of his dead money owed if they cut him |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
Means nothing. Two teams who don't have good QB options said no thanks. Two teams that see him every single day. That's way more important and really tells the real story over his stats. His stats have no substance what so ever.

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
I'm surprise to be finding stuff like this:
@CommandersNFL_ Carson Wentz dropped 28 total touchdowns last year on two bad ankles, in a run-heavy offense, while throwing to mostly trash. I don’t care what the Colts do. All they do is trade picks and never win.

All of that is pretty legit. His WRs were no name dudes (Pittman is ok) He will have better weapons in Washington by far. We don’t have JT but AG is pretty fucking good Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
I am not in love with this move, but he is (nearly every QB would be) the best QB we've had since Kurt Cousins.
He's had success. Not a great completion %, but good QBR. Doesn't throw a lot of INTs compared to TDs. He's had a couple injuries - but I think he's only missed 8 games due to injury in 6 years. That's not bad. He was benched for Jalen Hurts in 2020, but that was a B A D team, and they had to see what Jalen Hurts could do. Looked good last year, but tailed off at the end apparently. Ok. Welp, I'm not going to cry and whine about it. At least they are trying to do something. Whether it's Wentz, Winston, Trubisky...neither blows me away, but neither one of they was going to make everyone happy. Looks to be a fair deal - I'm curious to see if he and ST can take this team to the next level. |

Re: Welcome Carson Wentz
Put up Wentz vs Dak and you’d be surprised.

The first full blooded Commanders QB.
Come on, sing it with me: And you think today is going to be better Change the world and do it again Give it all up and start all over You say you will but you don't know when Then it's back where you started Here we go round again Day after day I get up and I say Come on better do it again |
