Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
For sure. It will be interesting to see how high the qbs go with how many there are and the lack of truly elite qbs although some good ones. I think they will be able to get a very nice haul by trading down that 11. Love the idea unless there's a guy that they must have.

Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
Browns are very active, with Cooper add, pursuing Watson and going big on pass-rush options in free agency. - Jeremy Fowler
Looks like the Baker era is over

I would like Mayfield on our squad. I think hed fit well, seems like a better version of Heinike. |

Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
Too bad he's an OLB, but this is a surprising move:
@AdamSchefter After Monday’s spending spree, the Jaguars are releasing LB Myles Jack, per source. Jack led the Jaguars in tackles last season with 108.

Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
I seem to recall when he came out that there were questions about how long his knees would hold up to the pounding they would take, I wonder if that is a factor. I also thought that he had played some MLB, but I could be wrong about that. Adds more to the FA pool which is good news for those looking at Hicks or Wagner

Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
Kind of awkward for the Browns if they openly court Watson but fail to land him, does Baker demand a trade regardless?

Adam Schefter
@AdamSchefter · 10m Cowboys are re-signing DE Randy Gregory to a five-year, $70 million deal that includes $28 million guaranteed, per source. |

Dallas is cutting and trading…turning around and then signing some big deals

Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
They have a bunch of cap room, albeit by pushing dollars onto future years but if you look at their current cap position they have 14 players with more than a $2m cap hit, Washington has 21. And the first 7 names on Washington's list are very average players by league standards.

Re: Free Agency Around the NFL Style
While it doesn't help that they are in the AFC, I think the Browns have the more complete team for Watson, compared to Carolina and New Orleans. Also, the Browns have the best QB to include in the trade compared to those two teams.
