i don't care if they locked lavar up in a cage, made him preform dances for the Big Dan, serve the players and feed him raw meat this was not the time to say this shit. It is a distraction and i don't care about the circumstances or that it isn't my life. He is a millioniare, hell the interview was given in his 20,000 sq ft. mansion. This isn't the time. Gibbs said that he wishes everyone in the town was focused on philly. Well with this shit i know that isn't gonna happen and it is not easy. Ofcourse it is a distraction. Lavar going into this game and thinking it might be his last game of his career(that is where he acts like a pre madonna)is a distraction.

Gibbs said ifanyone would say somehting like that now it is rediculous. So i will go by what gibbs said. It -being lavar- is rediculous. I road his band wagon to the ground. The thing is he does love the fans and we do love him. i don't know what the **** he is talking about. The fact is we can't cut him. Maybe he learned that the cap situation favors the redskins by a lot like the reporter said-6.5 million- and now is scared this might be his last game as a skin. If the cap is the way i think it is then lavar will be here next year and now NOW he has a problem with management. I think that he still is GREAT not good great and i don't need to saythat he is my favorite player anymore because he is LAVAR ARRINGTON the face of the redkins.

I just want him here next year playing for us with him mouth shut.

If it isnt a distraction, why is everyone talking about this rather than the philly game?

YOU GUYS HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME! 1st and foremost the guy has really been the face of the franchise for years b4 the clinton's, taylor's, washington's,etc, I really believe that he deserves the benefit of the doubt not only because he speaks from his heart but the fact that it could be very frustrating for someone outside the organization (agents) help destroy his relationship w/ his boss. I truly believe that w/ clemons out we will truly see how much the owner and coaching staff think of him. To me he is one of the top two players on our team, i also believe for once the redskins and gibbs need to do the right thing! WHICH IS KEEP LAVAR AROUND! The dude is a stand up guy who is very humble, i think that i would be really disappointed if we didnt find a way to keep him around.

I would agree that he has been the face of the Redskins, but the face is no longer an individual it is a team with many good stories to be told. What frustrates me is his arguements are about me, me, me and completely speculitive even according to his account, he does not know what his status is and that could be said for any player in today's free agency, don't cry over a business or career that you chose and has done nothing but pay you well in a 20 mil dollar mansion. I love Lavar, but he is wrong in speculating his future in the middle of a playoff run where he is contributing and playing alot. Maybe we can get Dan Snyder and the whole team to sit down give him a smack on the ass and say we appreciate you man and they all tell their favorite Lavar story to make him feel wanted.

just like have been saying for years...arrington is a little bitch. if you listened to him after the giants game, he had no excitement over us winning. he's a selfish peice of trash. and i hope gibbs doesn't play him against the iggles.

Re: Lavar says he was misquoted - he wants to remain a redskin for his entire career

Im a huge Lavar fan but this whole thing doesn't sit well with us as fans. We all love watching him play and couldn't wait to see what he could do in this system. Lavar made a statement regarding fan support like Ray Lewis. Ray is a free-lancer but he rairly misses tackles and plays hard and helps coach his fellow teammates. This is something I never saw Lavar do while in Denver sitting under a coat just like in KC he sits and sulks. To me if I was Dan,Joe, or Greg I would be lighting a fire under his ass. Lavar is a very emotional player and I listen to him on the John Thompson show and he is a cronic listner to the critics. Lavar loves seeing his Jersey and the fans cheering for him then why did it take so long for you to release your rights as a member of the NFLPA. You should have loved your new contract because in there Dan Snyder saw your earning potential and through that in there. He make millions and so doe's his advisors so I ask them this READ ALL PRINTED DOCUMENTS AND SIGN HERE>__________

Just a thought and my first post.
With the Possible Cap room Reggie Wayne Next Year???
