It would be one thing if Ron has lost the locker room, but I haven't seen any indication of that yet. We're a poorly coached team but guys are still saying all the right things. The year is wasted anyways, I see no harm in letting him stay until the end of the year. Doing it now is basically just to satisfy our thirst for blood. In the meantime Harris can use this team to figure out how he wants to build the next front office. GM has final say over everything? Assemble his list of top GM candidates, etc.

Our future GM is very likely working for another team and the season is not over yet. I have no idea if the rules are the same for negotiating contracts with front office employees as it is w/ players, but I would imagine so. My bet is they're doing their due diligence and research to get a list of X number of candidates that they will interview as soon as the season is over.
