The grown up move is to clean house once the season is over.
It's funny how fans are basically asking Harris to do things that Snyder did.

That's a bit of an over exaggeration given this regime, mostly, has had years, not one year, to figure it out.

Nope, the grown up move is to announce that the team has underperformed for too long (not just Rivera's tenure) and that the team has (hopefully already completed) conducted an extensive GM search, and we are happy to announce [insert awesome name here] as the GM as of today(Friday). While this season is ongoing, [awesome name guy] will be working to set our storied franchise back on a path to excellence that led the Washington Redskins 3 super bowls, and to new super bowl wins in the future for your hometown team.

I’m all for naming a new GM at any time.

I meant cleaning house when it comes to the coaching staff.

I think it just ends up being a bad look for ownership.
I agree.

It would be one thing if Ron has lost the locker room, but I haven't seen any indication of that yet.

We're a poorly coached team but guys are still saying all the right things.

The year is wasted anyways, I see no harm in letting him stay until the end of the year. Doing it now is basically just to satisfy our thirst for blood.

In the meantime Harris can use this team to figure out how he wants to build the next front office. GM has final say over everything? Assemble his list of top GM candidates, etc.

The way that play unfolds I'd say it was on one of the LBs (Davis?) and Curl sees it too late to make a difference.

Agree

We have literally decades of poor LB play in coverage

Our future GM is very likely working for another team and the season is not over yet. I have no idea if the rules are the same for negotiating contracts with front office employees as it is w/ players, but I would imagine so. My bet is they're doing their due diligence and research to get a list of X number of candidates that they will interview as soon as the season is over.
