Re: Vikings Week

31-0 isn’t normal folks. We were 1 game away last year…the team looks like a shell of itself.

Accepting it as no big deal from fans is surprising. I’ll echo skinsfanok, this is a big offseason for this front office and coaching staff, last offseason they failed the fanbase.

What the facts are:

1. the defense has been bottom 5 the last two years under DQ Joe Whitt- it looks worse than Ron’s defense. People need to be fired.

2. Adam Peters 1 year vet signing strategy is a loser strategy. Get younger and faster. The guys he got in the draft not JD5 has been below average.

3. JD5 is injury prone due to taking too many unnecessary hits. He cannot continue to play in this system. Put him under center

Hey JD left again today with injury after making a terrible throw.

Take away the luck and add in the injuries, it's not very surprising we are as bad as we are. You just got lulled into a false view of what the team really was.

Whitt was fired essentially. Either Quinn will call from now on or another DC will be brought in.

You can't squeeze blood out of a turnip man. Restocking a entire team with talent takes time. 1 year vet deals worked fine last year, it didn't this year because we've been decimated with injuries.

This we agree on. Even before his injuries, I said last year he was running entirely too much and taking hits he should be avoiding.

The number of injuries we’ve had isn’t normal, big majority of the issues start there

Looking on the bright side, Jake Moody didn't miss a kick all game.

Re: Vikings Week

On JD's int, I honestly blame Kliff for that more than JD. Stupid ass WR screens, they've taken over football. It's lazy play calling, hoping your guy is going to out athlete the defense. They're obsessed w/ this shit in college, and perhaps it's fine there w/ the disparity in talent and the wide hashes. In the NFL you can throw that shit in the trash can.

Re: Vikings Week

Peters has built one of the least talented rosters in the NFL. His drafts stink too. He needs to get his shit together. We haven't made any progress outside of JD falling into our laps. We look anywhere like this season, the whole FO and coaching staff needs to be fired.

Re: Vikings Week

The offense was pretty healthy yesterday. They didn't score a single point.

No question it was bad, but safe to say there’s a lot of rust out there

Re: Vikings Week

A team should NEVER lose to a 4-8 football team 31-0. That was an absolute embarrassment. The game wasn't even watchable. Not too many games I turn off before the 4th quarter.

Re: Vikings Week

I gotta say that Kliff sucks. How do you call three straight passes down there at the 1 yard line? Especially how CRod was running. WTF is wrong w/ that guy? Run the ball there dude and quit calling plays like a little bitch. That's on DQ too because he should have told him to at least get 2 runs there.

Then that wr screen on 4th down. I just can't take him anymore.

Speaking of CRod, I love that guy. He is no nonsense. Best pure runner we've had here in a while. Should have given him the ball 25 times instead of 10. Just pure bullshit.

Re: Vikings Week

The injuries this year have been wild. The adjusted games lost is really bad. Right up there with Cardinals and 49ers. The big difference between the Cards/Commanders and Niners is the established philosophy between Kyle and Lynch (9 years in the making). They have a program built upon back ups being able to fill the role and not adjust the system. That didn't happen over night. Even then the Niners have missed the playoffs 50% of the seasons and the seasons they don't, a max of 6 wins. It's a shitty season no doubt but not time to blow shit up

Re: Vikings Week

And it's official. Ertz tore his ACL and is out for the rest of the season. I wonder whether he retires after this. If so, just a terrible way to go out.

It's really hard to imagine a more miserable season.

Re: Vikings Week

A lot of problems to me over the offseason, that have shown on the field, was seemingly our FO/coaching staff trying to prove or thinking they are the smartest ppl in the room.

Lets beef up on DL and forego a true pass rushing talent. Lets drag out the terry situation just to pay him anyway. Lets stick to this college offense since it worked last year. Lets keep faith in our zone scheme and hope lack of speed at the second level doesnt show... ... etc etc..

just had it with kliff. either change up your game or go back to school.

need to revamp the entire defense, clearly, as well.

over this year, as we all are but i have a LOT of finger pointing that occurs off the field.

Re: Vikings Week

Double standard going on .. Whitt gets more or less canned and yet KK with his full offensive unit out there couldn't score a point ?? How about Quinn be a damn leader and hold Kliff to same standard. But he won't he is trying to be everyone's buddy .. we will not win another game this year or possibly next with this coaching staff and Peters !.. we don't have nearly enough draft picks to fix this mess and i don't trust Peters to bring in free agents..
