Sean Taylor Spitting Video (merged)

Have any of you played football? That punch did even hurt sean, he hit the helmet, he was probrally smiling after he did it. I would of swung at him too if he spit on me.

I don't care about the call and whether dude didn't call anything on Pittman for swinging. Hell I not upset at Taylor either he just an asshole and assholes do things like that.

I'm still a Sean Taylor fan

Wow, the ref was on point and I love the part where Redskin players were like "Oh" when they found out what happened.

he didnt really lie if he said he didn't spit in pittman's face though... Unless i missed it the video clearly showed the loogie going about 2 inches foward before falling to the ground...

Redskins won.
Sean Taylor won't do it again and Redskins are in round 2 of the playoffs!!!
Michael Pittman is at home dealing with his own legal problems. HAHAHHAHAHHAHAHA.

Best part about this thread and this story is EVERYONE including the Seahawks are focused on this situation that will not affect or be a part of the game on the field.

What I don't understand about the situation was why didn't the ref throw the flag right when he apparently saw Taylor spit on him? He was looking right at him when he did it, if this video is authentic. He waited until after Pittman hit him.

He first stepped in to seperate the players then went for the flag.

This might be splitting hairs but, in the video the Spit barely touches Pittman. You could say he was attempting to spit on the ground in front of pittman.

Or he just spat on Pittman.

I think that's the excuse he will give (or has given) Williams and Gibbs. "I didn't spit on Pittman - I just spit on the ground and it happened to go in Pittman's general direction. I didn't lie."

Mark Schlereth actually called out Gibbs for being unprincipled by letting Taylor back into the line-up for this game.

F_ck Schlereth $17,000 and 2nd half is enough punishment for spit wtf......... but on a side note that ref did a terrific job diffusing that situation and calming things....
