Campbell scored a 28 at the combine. But he did score like a 14 the first time he took it so maybe I was being harsh on Young. OR maybe both are dumbasses.

Word is anything below 25, and it becomes a concern for the coach's. Unless it's an anomaly, could be a BIG deal. The talk is he may not be able to learn the complexities of the NFL playbook. Colin Cowherd of ESPN was reading some of the test questions on the air today..........................it ain't rocket science. My (average) thirteen year old would have no problems

well here is how position by position score on average and normal people in jobs
Offensive tackles: 26 Centers: 25 Quarterbacks: 24 Guards: 23 Tight Ends: 22 Safeties: 19 Middle linebackers: 19 Cornerbacks: 18 Wide receivers: 17 Fullbacks: 17 Halfbacks: 16 The average scores in other professions look like this: http://espn.go.com/page2/s/closer/020228.html Chemist: 31 Programmer: 29 Newswriter: 26(this does not count because fatass is a dumbass too and drastically pulls down the average) Sales: 24 Bank teller: 22 Clerical Worker: 21 Security Guard: 17 Warehouse: 15 You have 12 mintutes to answer 50 questions. average for football is a 19, average for all people is 21... so i doubt below 25 is much of a concern... marino got a 16, and i think he was able to learn the complexities of the NFL.
you're allowed to retake it as many times as you want. |

You gotta love this time of year when everyone is checking the Wonderlic guage on each prospect! cowboys check the wonderlic from the other end, however.

i don't think intelligence tests really affect how people play football in anyway. I remember last year about how everyone was saying Jason Campbell was an idiot and won't be able to grasp the NFL's schemes. At least I hope it doesn't for the future of the Skins.

They apparently let you take the test as many times as you like. If I was drafting high, I might request multiple tests, to see how the scores average out.
