The Warpath 2006 March Hall of Fame Class by Gmanc711 (Presented by Cpayne5 bigawd)

Me and Cpayne were talking (Gman drunk, Cpyane at home tending to Mrs. Cpayne) and we deicded to start the WARPATH.NET hall of fame....and after much diliberation (and bs from peter king saying why TAFKAS shouldnt be in), we have the March Class.....

MATTYk72: Matty has fought his way in because he created the warpath.net! In addition, he defends Joe Gibbs at ALL costs ! And he leads the warpath.net in all time posts!!! Congrats Matty!!

Next.....

Joecrisp!!!: Because he gives the warpath.net the best local skins' coverage! Because he conviently gave GMANC711 the "wrong number" for the opener vs the Bucs in 2004!!! And because he is the only one with his personailized pictures as a sig!

and finally....

the best for last....

Zackmills!!!: Because.....

Congrats on the March class, sorry TAFKAS, better luck in April....

**Note to all voters (Gman/Cpayne)... daseal is still eligible, as it has been found after viewing a picture of him that he is definitley not on steroids

So my column streak is pointless, because I "wasn't feared" by the readers?

pretty much Brud. You and Tafkas will have a better shot in April. I'm just saying that actually, as long as Peter King still gets to vote you probably don't have much of a shot. You see, you're not big time, such as len pastabelly or Dr. Z. People don't wait days to read your next article, like they do to the big timers. In essence, you are the warpath's version of art monk. Teams didn't gameplan to try and and stop Monk, and people don't sit around and wait for your next article. Same goes for tafkas.

Btw, i forgot to say congrats to zack mills. Job well done mate.

Whatever the committe decides I'll have to accept. I don't have control over it so what can I do? I hope it happens though. Maybe I don't put up the flashy posts, maybe I haven't talked to the media much since the "waffle incident" I just go out there every day and do my job.

We asked Schneed10 Beathard to comment on TAFKAS being left off the first ballot:

"The downside is he's often taken for granted because he never promotes himself (Tune in this September for season two of REDSKINS REWIND). That's why in spite of all he does he's something of a secret outside of TheWarpath.net...and that's a shame because he's such a pro, such a pleasure to read."

Congrats to those who made it. Well deserved. I hope Zack Mills asks me to give his presentation speech at the induction ceremony.

TAFKAS was just never a trouble-maker, he never talked to the media. He just sat back and did his job. Zack Mills however, was very "in-your-face", and really stuck out in the minds of a lot of fans.

Re: The Warpath 2006 March Hall of Fame Class by Gmanc711 (Presented by Cpayne5 bigawd)

I have a feeling the committee is still holding the unfortunate incident with the November 23, 2003 Power Poll™ over my head (honestly, I don't know how that many instances of the n-word made it past the editors - I do apologize). The sad part is that despite the good things I did for the Warpath team, I will be remember for that.

Here now, a highlight reel:

Quote:
Buffalo Bills – Annointed superstar JP Losman was pulled for a series in favor of perennial also-ran Kelly Holcomb. I thought the only controversy in Buffalo was mild, medium, or hot.
Quote:
Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Pundits say Carnell "Cadillac" Williams looks like he's for real. Which is a good thing for Jon Gruden, who would have taken unbelievable heat for drafting an imaginary player.
Quote:
Houston Texans (last week: 31) – After being sacked seven times, QB David Carr said that he felt like the offense was "really coming together". If that's not evidence of a concussion, I don't know what is.
Quote:
Chicago Bears (last week: 23) – The Bears have a tough game against the Vikings this week. Not that the Vikings are that good, but do you even want to risk tackling them, all covered in lubricants and sex juices?
Quote:
Minnesota Vikings (last week: 27) – A question for Crazy Canuck, or any other capologists out there. Do sex parties count against the cap? I think they ought to. I mean, if I'm a free agent, and Chicago's offering me $10 million over four years, and Minnesota's offering me $12 million over five, I might be a little bit torn as to where to go. Right up until Minnesota throws in the sex parties. Then, I'm a Viking, baby.
Quote:
Atlanta Falcons (Last week - 4): Quoth Mike Vick: "People say I can't throw the ball from the pocket. I had to show them." You hit up a sub-.500 team for 228 yards. Let's not get carried away here, Johnny U.
Quote:
Buffalo Bills (Last poll - 17): It's sad to see a team bicker like this. And by "bicker", I mean "tear itself apart". And by "sad", I mean "funny".

Dude, you're 14. You can't remember to take out the garbage, much less things that happened last year.

Sorry. Just hoping a "Zack Mills-y" attitude might turn things around for me.

For all those who feel they were snubbed, don't feel so bad, from the way gman was talking, I'm pretty sure he was plastered during the "voting" process.
