How Long For Brunell?
I am getting tired of seeing Brunell frollock out of the pocket way too early just to throw the ball away on 3rd down while not even being pressured. I realize that an incomplete pass is better than an interception, but at the same time I'd like to see a bit more confidence in our speedy and ellusive recievers out of #8.

Re: How Long For Brunell?
0 interceptions 0 sacks...he didn't lose the game, poor play calling and defensive play did

Re: How Long For Brunell?
brunell isnt going to get pulled for a while, if at all. it is frusterating seeing him throw it away so often, but really he was pretty accurate with his passes tonight for the most part.

Re: How Long For Brunell?
I'd rather he roll out and through the ball away than throw an INT. Brunell did OK today but the play calling was pretty shitty if you ask me. And where was Cooley/Sellers all game? It's like they didn't even exist.

Re: How Long For Brunell?
i am not happy that we didn't see sellers or cooley tonight, but i have to keep the faith that saunders playbook takes more than one offseason to get used to. i just hope and pray that we improve week to week. if that happens we'll do fine. yeah, this loss really sucks but it's no reason to jump ship and start hatin'

It's year 3 with Brunell, get over it. He helped get us to the playoffs last year and he's our best shot this year. |

Re: How Long For Brunell?
Yes he throws a great 5 yard pass very accurate and if a defender is 5 yards away he gets rid of it....god forbid he would hold it till the last second and take a hit... Oh and any defense that plays the skins knows he throws a great 5 yard pass ... he makes defensing the skins so predictable... Brunell played great monday.

Re: How Long For Brunell?
I am sorry to say because I think Brunell is a genuinely good guy, but when we start equating a 58.3 performance as any sort of quality rating, we as fans are way overcompensating for a serious lack of efficency and decision making at the quarterback position. It is too bad that the coaching staff did not take a more aggressive role for Brunell's lack of performance in the preseason and start getting Jason Campbell more ready in relief of Brunell. I will not be suprised if he is taking a few more snaps in practice this week (well, I know that is wishful thinking). Just my thoughts.

Re: How Long For Brunell?
MB will not take this team to a Super Bowl Championship. They may get to the playoffs but not all the way. That said he's the man. For whatever reason Gibbs likes him so that's the way its gonna be.

Re: How Long For Brunell?
It is possible that Loyd & Co. were not getting open ? I have been saying it all off season , if we can't , or are not willing to run the ball 30 times a game we are going to struggle . We don't have Brady or Manning and unless we pull off that trade , we better become and ground and pound team !
