Hahahaha.
I bought the best of South Park DVD yesterday and that episode is on it. I think I need to watch it when I get home from work. Then, maybe I'll watch Scott Tenorman Must Die for the second time.

Re: WT - Victory doesn't change anything
On this forum it was mentioned how the Skins come from behind win on Monday night football last year gave the Cowboys a hangover. Hopefully this win will do the same. However for the Redskins the two losses against Minnesota and Tennesse at home are going to hurt. For the team to have any serious playoff hopes that have to run the table, which is highly unlikely. At this stage I like the fact that the players are approaching each game as a single game season, that is probably the right approach.
With respect to pessimism regarding the team that is only natural, the expectation ever since Gibbs has come back is Super Bowl or bust. After last year's finish and the big free agent signings everyone in Washington area thought this team was headed to the Super Bowl. Now at the mid-point of the season the team is 3-5, and does not have any particular strength, actually I take that back the specail teams have been good, but neither offense nor the defence has played well or consistently. Tony McGee made a comment about commitment to the running game and how that opened up the passing game, I hope we see more of the same up in Philly. I also think it is time to let Duckett get some touches, maybe in the first half open up with Duckett at TB and Seller at FB and just pound the opposing defence. Once opposing defence has their hands on their hips unload with a heavy dose of CP and watch the big gains build up. |

We can afford one loss along the way. Running the table would guarantee it, but going 10-6 would mean we're 95% - 99% assured of making it.

Re: WT - Victory doesn't change anything
If I see a dominating performance in Filthy (something to the tune of 28-17, 28-10 Redskins) then all hope will have returned just as quickly as it left after the first Vikings game.
If the Skins do this, they'll know they can't get trapped down in Tampa and come home for a stand for the playoffs.
