Brunell is all class and tough as nails...but now we have to say goodbye

I watch him on interviews all the time, this guy is a great speaker and believes in everything the redskins are doing. Hes layed it all out for this team, and does not stop believing. I almost hate seeing this criticism of a guy whos had a great career, and no ring. But at the same time we got to do whats best for this great franchise. I was and still am a Brunell supporter. Hate me all you want to, this guy is all class, a true team player, never complains and theres no controversy with him. He just tries to win week in and week out. Unfortunately he's not getting it done, and yep im in total agreement that it is time for a switch. I just pray that JC is the answer. Sorry if this thread is similar to the others. Lets go SKINS

Brunell has had an incredible career. I would not be surprised to see him playing for another team and doing great. He has lost our faith and it's time to turn it over to Campbell. Otherwise we risk turning Campbell into a "Spurrier/Ramsey" head case. If Doug Williams has the faith to say "go" to Campbell wearing his #17 well then I do too. Sorry Brunell has to go, but he's a rollercoaster and he will either give me, you or Gibbs a heart attack real soon.

Hail

I didn't hear this but a friend of mine said Collins was warming up in the 4th quarter and would have come in if we had gotten the ball back. He heard this on Redskins Radio. Did anyone else hear this?

I was elk hunting so I did not watch the game. But yeah if you watch the Gibbs post game, he answers a question(I believe) about Collins warming up.

Gibbs said that in his postgame presser

If Collins starts then Lord help us. There would just be absolutely no good reason to start the guy UNLESS the coaches think that Campbell isn't up to it. This is the absolutely worst case scenario.

btw, good call on the elk hunting instead of watching the pitiful skins effort...

I for one will question this statement. But I don't hate you!

Has Brunell layed it all out for this team? Has he hung in the pocket and taken the hit to complete a big pass? does he not throw the ball away, or complete it short of first downs constantly because defenders may or may not be closing in on him?

No your right he doesn't complain after all who is going to complain about HIMSELF?

No he doesn't run his mouth and create controvery, he is the controversy!

Does Brunell try to win? Yes, but he tries to win like a boxer who tries to win a fight without getting punched in the face, you will usually lose if you take that approach because you will never be close enough to hit your opponent yourself. And that is Brunell in a nutshell!

I want a QB who win's, not a QB who gives a good interview!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
