Kind of surprising he won. Usually it's someone with some kind of ridiculous stats like three sacks an interception with 8 tackles and a fumble recovery. He did have a great end of the game for sure.

ure.
Six tackles, four solos is pretty good. And consider that stop on 4th down was essentially like a turnover.

I promise you guys, I'm not Sean's PR person.

He stepped up twice with the game on the line. Just another example of why he is the best player we've got.

Re: Sean Taylor NFC Defensive Player of Week

Does anyone think that Vernon Fox could be the next Ryan Clark in the way he is good at protecting against the pass and helps out Taylor?

I think he could. The key with Fox, as was with Clark in my opinion, is that if he plays within his role, he could be a good compliment to Taylor.

The mistake the Redskins made in trying to pair up AA with Taylor is that you have two guys trying to be play makers and that doesn't work, especially when you're not getting pressure up front.

we used to make so many plays by blitzing taylor and/or springs. but we cant do that this year, we need them in coverage. Clark, Marshall/Pierce, Walt Harris, evne Rogers picked up the coverage so we could blitz.

i just want constant pressure with our front four

Not really. By the way he is behind Vincent on the depth chart. I spoke to a Steelers fan about Ryan Clark and he said that Clark is not that good for them.

I think that Archuleta was so bad that people look at Clark with Rose colored glasses. I think that Vincent is much better than Clark. I am hoping that we hold onto him and that his hammy can hold up next year.

To be fair to Clark, their entire team isn't doing well. Clark does have 67 tackles which is pretty good for a safety to have at this point in the year. I just think that with Clark's knowledge of GW's system and chemistry with the team he was a very good player to our team, especially for the price that he plays with. But i was one of the people who thought that AA would be good in the system even though i was a Clark fan which leads me to my dirty work quote:
Dr. Farthing: I know there's really nobody to blame for this but myself, well, I don't know, maybe the Buffalo Bills, the Boston Red Sox, or Mr. T or, or the Jets...
Mitch: Wait a minute, Mr T.? Are you telling me that you bet on the fight in Rocky III, and that you bet against Rocky?
Dr. Farthing: Hindsight is twenty-twenty, my friend.
