Beatdown Galore
Apparently beating down kids in Iraq is OK. What's even worse is that these guys take them behind a wall so no one would see the punishment they're dissing out. I'm guessing these kids have norecurse and will probably join the insurgents and kill soldiers without hesitation.

Re: Beatdown Galore
I wouldnt call this a beatdown as more of the kids got what they needed a little discipline, IE hey you throw rocks at my face im gonna hit you on the backside with a switch, they didnt beat em, they spanked them much like a parent would spank their kid with a switch, nothin wrong with that to keep em in line a little bit, if they had started throwin punches or anything like that on the other hand then yes it would be messed up, i dont find this video to be violent at all, these guys are out there everyday gettin shot at and crazy shit like that, dont demoralize the troops cuz they gave these kids, that look to be around 12-14ish a spanking which they deserved

Re: Beatdown Galore
really, if your one of those people that trashes everything that happens and label it "cruelty" more power to your tree hugging ass. Those iraqi brats clearly need some parenting, the media will always catch the view that will sell the most try to remember that.
Hopefully we will be out of iraq before those brats can be insurgents And they probably took them behind the wall to protect them and the kids from stray fire you ever think of that?

Re: Beatdown Galore
how do we know these kids weren't trying to shoot the soldiers? i try not to judge anyone that is involved in Iraq, because i what my rules would be. and those rules would be to get my ass back to the states alive.

Re: Beatdown Galore
Hmmmmmm...........maybe I did not phrase that correctly as I agree with you. They probably deserved some discipline, if not punishment. As you say D, and I agree, "Who knows what that was for"? Either way I would reserve judgement until the truth were known. Additionally, I am not one of the PC believers.

Re: Beatdown Galore
Beating them with sticks? I guess you guys missed the part where they are kicking them just like a parent would kick their kids. One kid even got kicked in the balls while laying down face forward.

Re: Beatdown Galore
if those kids were trying to shoot the soldiers and all they got was a swift kick in the nuts, i would say that they are pretty lucky

Re: Beatdown Galore
There's a lot of messed up stuff going on in Iraq on all sides, yet the left only talks about American atrocities and the right only talks about what the Iraqis and foreign insurgents are doing. It's dumb. War sucks and all sides do things that we should loathe. But on the whole, if you want to talk about malicious and evil acts, I think the insurgents have got us beat hands down.
Should I start posting vids of the insurgents beheading people, kidnapping and torturing (not the Gitmo style torturing, but some serious sh-t) people, blowing up U.S. troops as they hand out candy to kids (yes they killed a bunch of troops handing out candy to kids as well as the kids), or killing people just because they belong to the wrong religious sect? I find it ironic that the far left constantly talks about humanitarian crises and disasters (e.g. Sudan), yet wants us to withdraw from Iraq immediately. What do they think will happen if we withdraw from Iraq? There IS a civil war in Iraq right now, but it's only going to get worse if we leave. Meanwhile, the right could care less about humanitarian crises, yet is using humanitarian concerns, in part, to justify staying in Iraq. Both sides are full of it. But, do we really need to get into all of this? I think this issue is going to sharply divide a lot of people. |

Re: Beatdown Galore
The military's policy is to shoot if shot at even if the shooters are kids. I can guarantee you that all these kids were doing was throw rocks so please no more bs about how these kids "might" have shooting at them. If the kids shot at them they would be dead. Period!
