An Inconvenient Truth
I support Al Gore's Eco-Friendly politics, but I saw a pretty funny story on CNN. CNN reported that Al Gore spent over $30,000 on his electric bill last year, averaging about $2,500 per month. It's reminiscient of Dick Gephardt bashing Bush for not pushing for tighter emissions requirements in new cars, even though he himself drove an SUV (until the Washington Post ran a story). I love how full of it politicians are.

Re: An Inconvenient Truth
Have a link to the story? I'm curious if that's for a single house? Or for multiple homes he owns?

Re: An Inconvenient Truth
Sick. I cant say much more than has already been said. Al Gore is a no-character, robotic, hypocritical talking head. When I think about how much of a retard I think Bush is, it makes me smile because I'd rather him than Al Gore. I mean, come....he invented the internet. WTF.

Re: An Inconvenient Truth
Let me get this straight, you think global warming is a big hoax but not all of it? That's a good brain teaser right there.

Re: An Inconvenient Truth
Totally!
“As the spokesman of choice for the global warming movement, Al Gore has to be willing to walk (the) walk, not just talk the talk, when it comes to home energy use,” The Gore’s 10,000 square foot house on Lynnwood Boulevard doesn’t have a small one.

Re: An Inconvenient Truth
True about the solar panel...but who mentioned Bush here? I don't mean to make a bigger deal out of this than has to be but, is it me or do you like to attack Bush on this board just for the hell of it arbitrarly?

Re: An Inconvenient Truth
I don't like Al Gore too much and I am not too confident about the truthfullness behind the whole global climate crisis discussion but if he is having solar panels installed then that should be as big a story as his energy use. I think it is wholly unfair for the media to make headlines that clearly are meant as indictments when there are major parts of the story that change the whole context. It happens all the time with all kinds of politicians(and everyone else too) and I am tired of it. There's plenty to complain about most people, including Al Gore, without some manufactured story about his energy use.
