To nitpick even more, it was a Thursday night.

I stand corrected. lol

I know he actually out ran Sam Cowart for a big firstdown in that game, I don't remember who the player was that over shot him on the blitz.

I was at that game and the funny thing was Ramsey rolled left and there was no one in front of him but he still hesitated looking down field. Then it seem as the whole stadium yelled all at once Run Ramsay Run. He pulled down the ball as the cheers rang out strutted down field for what seem like a minute before reaching the 1st down marker. I don't remember him Sam chasing him because he had a wide open field and it was right in fron of us. All I can say is when Ramsey came to us I thought he was our QB for the future which did not work out. I would not write him off as a many of players have found their stride late in their career and I hope a team gives him a chance.

Yea that was a fun play, he was actually running and seperating from Cowart on that play, I remembered thinking he's not as slow as some might have thought, I actually think Ramsey had some straight ahead speed but he really didn't have any quickness which is more important at the QB position.

And now they are looking to recoup the draft pick they wasted on him. The extension was actually a slap in that it was meant as a one-year insurance policy and Ramsey was looking for a longer deal that would be crafted in a manner that would insure his stay in New York.

As for "exceptional arm strength", the same could be said for Kyle Boller but so f'*** what? Truthfully, that's all Ramsey had - a big arm and the guts to get pounded and keep getting up.

I forgot just what a man-crush offiss had for Ramsey. It's good to be reminded of these thing every once in a while.

Great lets move this to Lavar, as I said all along he was highly overated by the NFL hype machine and we fell for it. Ok lets run with this!

Lavar always talked too much, but now he has no choice but to shut up.

Ramsey couldn't beat out two limp-armed QBs in Brunell and now Pennington. Just goes to show how far a strong arm gets you in this league. Maybe by his 10th year or so someone will finally be smart enough to give him a "fair shot". After all, he did have a few nice plays 3 years ago.

Really, like you weren't on the Ramsey bandwagon after his first 2 years, the only thing Ramsey did once Gibbs arrived was sit the bench in favor of the teachers pet.

Gibbs has been wrong constantly about personel since he's come back, you don't think Ramsey could be just another Gibbs mistake? You know like the one he made in Brunell!

The fact is we didn't have a QB on our roster last year who could outplay Pennington so because Ramsey couldn't dethrown a very good incumbant QB he's finished? If you say so, I say he will succeed, how about we let this play out and then evaluate.

So is Mangini not seeing this Ramsey brilliance too??

I was on Ramsey's bandwagon years ago but I can admit it when I'm wrong.

He's not a good player, and he's not good enough to be a starter in this league. It's becoming quite clear that nobody "ruined" him or screwed him over, he just simply is not the player we hoped he would become.
