the first time smoot gets burned for a touchdown, everyone on this board is wondering why the hell the skins brought him back

davis and graham probably want too much money. todd wade to play OG or OT is a better option if the skins can get him to re-sign. he's definitely second tier though, so he's probably waiting for the big names to die down to see what teams are interested.

for a TE - the skins are probably only looking at depth. erron kinney might be an option, maybe a guy like tony stewart. i'd guess either a somewhat no-name as average depth, or a UDFA OL guy that's just brought in to block.

im not convinced that todd wade can make the transition from rt to lg well enough. clayton said that davis is choosing between us and the cowboys and more likely it will be us

Yeah i saw that as well.With that being said i saw a rumor yesterday that he wanted to go to Dallas.The only reason he was visiting with the Skins and the Giants.Was to raise the money that he was going to get.I would like to see us get him only to screw the Cowboys over.Then again if Dallas pays him a lot of money that sounds good to me.

5 million a year? His guaranteed money will be almost 3 mill per year.

yeah he knows he wont get much more than that and the reason i think the reason that leonard davis asked jerry jones for so much money is so that he could blow them off and become a skin

I would guess that he expects 50 million reasons to be here. I hope they don't pay it. Every year some solid players get cut in June.

So far we have been very good in free agency. If we give that lazy fat boy 50 million I will be pissed, but if we give him 32 million I will be happy.

i am happy he's back and honestly every corner in this league gets beat on occasion. I like how our secondary is starting to look on paper. I look for a big year out of rogers. at least he better have a break out season.

mikes sellers is 280+ and blocks, pucillo is even heavier and blocks. both were used as TEs. i think the TE thing is more about depth than NEEDING a blocking TE.

After watching the Smoot press conference it's nice to see a guy who loves being a Redskin and coming home. I hope he dose well!!!! Love what he brings to the table!
