Re: Arch traded
Nooooooo. (Cite your source). In all seriousness that sounds like good news for both parties.

Re: Arch traded
Just seen this also on NFL Total Access. I wanted to keep Arch, and see if we could work out any packages, but i'll take a 6th pick for him.

Re: Arch traded
6th is about what we should have expected for him.....
Worst FA Blunder maybe ever for the Washington Redskins, just a stupid ass signing with Sean Taylor already here. I honestly think Archuletta will be a impact player next season now that he's in Chicago.

Re: Archuleta traded to Bears for 6th round pick
I think with Archuletta on his way out we should now take the time to consider Landry in the draft. I know it probably won't happen but we still have to look at our options.

Re: Arch traded
Schefter reported that there is a possibility that this contract says that if he preforms well, the draft pick will be raised.
I am happy that we delt him but I was expecting a third to fith from Lovie, he seemed like he really wanted him I also wonder how the contract was done, I think this will tell us what we are planning to do for the rest of this year and for next year. |

Re: Archuleta traded to Bears for 6th round pick
I think it's a bad trade, but as in bad-but insignificant NOT as in bad-and very costly.
I think the better move would have been to take another year and try to get some return on investment. But with Prioleau manning the secondary next year, the only thing that REALLY matters is that we get an impact player on the defensive line in this draft. And that we don't end up with Calvin Johnson.

We're very lucky to get anything for him.
I wonder if he re-worked his deal to get out of town. |

Re: Archuleta traded to Bears for 6th round pick
I think the main selling point for the Redskins was ridding themselves of Archulettas contract.

Re: Arch traded
Somebody set up a crisis hotline for Hess.
I hate the way this whole thing played out. Ugly, just plain ugly. |

Re: Archuleta traded to Bears for 6th round pick
Seriously! You guys think we could have gotten a THIRD!?!? The writing was on the wall that despite what Gibbs says, Arch was gone. Why would they part ways with a 3rd if he was probaboly just gonna get axed anyways.

I still think he was the infamous leak from last season.
