I love older movies and actually watched Grumpy Old Men recently. Pretty heartfelt and funny. I can see why it got a lot of fanfare at the time. The dynamic between Lemmon and Matthau was entertaining.

My older movie binge continues. I watched Armaggedon recently. Cast was really good with Bruce Willis, Billy Bob Thornton, Ben Affleck and more. Movie was a bit far fetched but still enjoyable. A lot of action but heartfelt. Not a bad way to spend 2 1/2 hours.

One of my Top 5 movies is the 1955 film, Mister Roberts, with Henry Fonda, James Cagney and Jack Lemmon.

Sitting in theater, waiting for start of vampire flick; the Sinners.

Just watched the 2019 remake of Lion King. Going to watch Mufasa: The Lion King tomorrow for Easter.

I took my daughter to see A Minecraft Movie. I promise it was her idea. Not bad really but definitely more for the kiddos. Jack Black was highly entertaining in this. Kids were going crazy in the theater to this one.

Saw the vampire flick, Sinners. Gets a 7.3/10.. Stay during the early credits, as they are additional scenes to the movie.

I watched 88 Minutes recently. Plot sounded decent, and I gotta see anything with Al Pacino. One of my fav actors ever. Not a bad watch honestly. Had some decent action and intense scenes.

I watched Antwone Fisher recently. I am a huge Denzel fan and had heard about this but never seen it. What a beautiful, powerful movie. Very emotional movie but it is worth a see. Great acting as we'd expect from anything Denzel touches.

I watched The Amityville Horror (1979 version) recently. Pretty interesting and well done I felt. Love movies based off true stories (if you believe in these kind of things). Pretty cool to see a horror movie before the 80's. Intense and had some good scenes. Not for the kids.

Re: Merged: The Movies Thread

I watched Dumb and Dumber 2 recently. Not as good as the original and very corny as expected, but had some funny scenes. Not for everyone but if you like these kind of silly, funny movies worth a watch. If you like Jim Carrey, check out Liar Liar also which is very funny.
