Dallas and Landry?
Can you believe we have to cheer for both of these names now??!! I'll take it though. We've gotten some quality guys in this draft. I'm impressed.

Re: Dallas and Landry?
I couldn't watch it but I heard Berman was going crazy with the Landry in Washington stuff. Thank god I missed that.

TK was also being an asshole about the Skins when they asked him, Jaws actually said we were a couple steps away from a playoff contender.

Re: Dallas and Landry?
Ecker won't won't make the squad. I hope we have eyes set on UDRFA Nevada TE Anthony Pudewell.
Compares To: Chris Cooley, Washington Redskins … While Pudewell does not get many opportunities to be involved in the passing game, he has the soft, natural hands and short-area burst like Cooley to gain valid yardage … He can easily separate from linebackers after the catch and shows good urgency working back for the ball … He is a much better blocker that Cooley can ever hope to be, but you can see the body control, balance and hand usage that the Redskin tight end displays to feel that Pudewell will be a productive pro player. Pudewell is an underrated receiver who many scouts feel is one of the premier blockers in the country at his position. The offensive co-captain has the quickness to locate and obliterate second-level defenders and also shows the natural hands to lock the ball in when working in a crowd. |

Re: Dallas and Landry?
i never realized how much negativity we get from the national media. kinda dissapointing really. Then again Im not a big Jamie Dukes, Berman, Keyshawn Johnson fan anyway. They are sleeping on our team accusing us of only building threw free agency. Joe Gibbs repeatedly states that we will go about getting players whatever means necessary. We'll all get our laugh on as our team continues to improve and the naysayers fall by the wayside.

Re: Dallas and Landry?
Most of that criticism of the skins by the media is warranted but there is an element of the media that just hates Dan Snyder for no reason. However, one member of ESPN team who always supports the redskins is Michael Smith though. He loves Sean Taylor and even said that he thinks that Landry will be better.

It's really not that difficult, I've always found it easy to evaluate talent, maybe I should be a scout. LOL Anyway I'll garauntee you that this guy Pudewell is a better player than Ecker; just as I felt about Sean over Winslow, Merriman over Carlos, Howard over McIntosh, or even Betts over Kenny Watson. |
