Only folks that should really be pissed are PETA and some other animal rights folks. CP was Bsing and playing with the press.

Luckily PETA hasn't chimed in on this issue. I'm a huge animal lover and hate PETA, they go about everything the wrong way. However, the humane society has asked Goodell to ban Vick for life if this is true.

Dog fighting is a FELONY punishable by five years in prison and a 2500 dollar fine for a reason.

Money makes people greedy. I'm sure someone showed Vick how much money is floating around the dog fighting scene and he wanted to get his money. Either that or he truely is ignorant and his cousin should be getting a beatin soon.

The real issue is that we don't (unless more has come out that I am unaware of) have any connection between Vick and the dog fighting. There are rumors of a video, but so far as I know we haven't seen it or know if it really exists. Vick has not been convicted of anything, if he is indicted it is probably because the prosecutor wants publicity. Everyone is just jumping on Vick because he is a public figure and has done some things to draw the ire of some people (i.e. flipping the bird), but nothing illegal (no drugs were ever found in the 'water bottle'). I THINK the point Clinton was making was that it is ridiculous to indict someone for something that we don't even know that they were involved in.

Clinton being Clinton took it a bit farther. A foolish thing to say? Yes. Was Clinton wrong in what he said? Certainly. Why it matter or why everyone now wants to jump on CP? I have no idea.

I love animals especially dogs. Is dog fighting really that bad? Isnt that why those types of dogs were breed for in the first place. Other then being illegal there is nothing really wrong with it. Don’t get me wrong, braking the law is bad but who hanst speed before or driven their car with a expired drivers license or safety inspection – even if just to get to the DMV to renew it.

These dogs aren't putting on tiny boxing gloves aqnd sparring for a few rounds, they're forcing them to kill one another.

It's closer than you'd think. Around 35% of auto accident fatalities are caused by driving over the speed limit, which means an average of 14,000 people a year are killed because they, or the other driver was speeding. So my question to the people that are pretending this is only an issue of legality; what's worse? A couple of pit bulls fighting, or you putting your own life, and potentially the lives of a random soccer mom with three kids in the car at risk by speeding?

EDIT: I guess if you're a dog lover, I can understand your gripe with the dog fighting issue, but I don't buy the argument of the people claiming this is strictly a cut and dry legal issue.
