to get back to this I actually saw RGIII stuff at the White MArsh Mall last weekend. Amazing because one they were selling stuff and two RGIII is so big now that he can have his stuff sold in the B-more market.

Martial Law declared in Arkansas town.

“Once we have an area that shows a high crime rate or a high call volume, it is our duty and obligation to find out why this is occurring and what we can do to prevent the trend from continuing. Therefore, identifying subjects in those problem areas help us to solve crimes, and hopefully to prevent future crimes.”

And so it begins.....

Gears ground.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

Why the hell do people have voice mail or an answering machine if they don't listen to the msg. I know it happens several time a day where we call someone and instead of them checking their mail they will see our number and call the office asking if someone called them. So then we have to ask everyone in the office if they called customer X because they are too lazy to listen to the msg. If your not going to listen to your msg then cut them off so we don't wast our time.

Re: What REALLY grinds your gears?

Getting into a car accident on Valentine's Day with my date. I was only 5 minutes from her house. I was f'ing pissed.

Luckily it happened on the other side of the road where firetrucks, ambulances and police cars were tending to another accident. Guy rear ended me. I'm assuming from rubbernecking the accident on the other side of the road.

Cops saw everything so I'm not at fault.

(doing best firstdown impression): Nothing like rear-ending a girl on Valentine's Day...

Glad you're OK. How's the car? Did you still get to see your date?

Rubberneckers should have their licenses revoked...menaces.

Good to hear you're alright D-Rave.

Rubberneckers grind my gears too. Even though I have been known for speeding I'm not one to tailgate slow cars, it doesn't solve anything and you don't know what the person's intentions in front of you are. I had some chick tailgating me last night while I was doing 30 in a 25 in a residential neighborhood, so I did what I always do and I slowed down until she got the message and backed off.

Yeah I was actually driving them home. And thanks for the well wishes, guys.

As for the car.

Pretty minimal damage. Got a body shop estimate today at $423 since they don't have to replace the entire bumper. The guy wants to pay out of pocket, which is fine with me.

So you can say you got smacked in the a$$ on valentines day.

Everyone hates a rubbernecker and bitch while they wait in trafic, but then as you pass the accident you rubberneck yourself

Never do, never will. It should be legal to immolate anyone who gawks at an accident. If you can't help, GTFOOT!

So your saying as you finally start to drive by the accident you don't look to see what happened?

Slightly more general gear grind, I hate that people think they have to be in a rush. If I don't move at the split second the light turns green and the person behind me honks, I promise you they will miss that whole light while I wait for it to turn red. I do over the speed limit if the majority is going that way, but if it's slower because of traffic you don't need to be weaving in and out like crazy people. If someone takes a few seconds or more as they pass an accident, either out of morbid curiosity, or just to see if everyone looks ok, those 2 minutes aren't going to ruin anyone's life. Enough crud puts pressure, and time crimps on life, if something slows it down, let it. The world will be there when you get home or to work, or where ever you are headed.

I lived in NOLA for one year, best year of my life from that perspective, no northeast manic pressures, no idiots honking cause you kept them from starting to move their car forward 2-3 seconds after the light changed.

Life is short, it shouldn't have to be rushed.
