Dallas is missing Henry and Newman is not 100% yet, I am not making excuses but that is a fact. The whole season, Brady was sacked 3 times, yesterday, was sacked 3 times and lost a fumble returned for a TD. They rushed for 75 yards, part of had to do with their success on passing but when they ran, they got nothing.

Up untill the end of the 3rd quarter it was a very winable game. The thing that hurt Dallas the most are 1. Slow Start 2. Penalties.

the bottom line is, Dallas lost, but I enjoyed the game. Harrison, the har hitter, was smacked around by barber. Brady was sacked 3 times and was hit hard another. He is a pu$$y, can't take a hit. I am really looking forward to the Redskins game, maybe Taylor will knock him out once, but knowing the coward he is and how much the NFL loves him, he won't be hit often.
I think you're on to something about Tom Brady. Basically, if the Skins can laid some wood on him, he'll come down to earth some.

We'll see...

But can't you say that about any NFL QB?

If we make costly mistakes like we did today they will. I'd much rather lose to New England than be swept by Dallas.

We DO have a better defense than Dallas, by far.

It'll take a miracle to win, but MAYBE we can be the first team to hold the Pats under 30 points, like 28.

I want to see the Redskins D being in there for over 65 plays and see what they will be able to do. Part of that had to do with the D not being able to get 3 and out. But the offense did not help them out. They could not keep the ball for too long.

We'll find out in two weeks what our D can do against the Pats.

Dallas is lucky to have only 1 loss.

Ya, I am not looking forward to watching that game in two weeks. I think we do match up a little better but we certainly don't have the offense to hang 35 points on the board which is what you will need to beat them.

Re: Focus Your Negative Energy- Pats-Cowgirls Thread

This is a loss I, and most, expected. But chances are that Dallas will enter thier bye week at the seasons half-way mark at 6-1. And that is not too shabby.

I do not understand how they can be so concerned about how Dallas does when the fact of the matter is Washington has dropped 2 of it's last 3 games.

You see Dallas, does not have to have a better record than New England to get to the playoffs, or even get home field. All Dallas has to do is have a better record thatn the other 3 teams in the NFC East. And Dallas is 1-0 in the division whereas Washington is 0-1.

Wahington has dropped 2 of thier last 3 games, which were very winnable. Washington was either tied or had the lead at halftime in those 2 games, and could not put thier opponent away.

One would think you would have more concerns to worry about on your side of the ball than on Dallas's.

Yeah, but they 1. Hate Dallas 2. The more games Dallas loses the better chance the Skins have at winning the East.

Thing is, with this loss to GB, it makes you wonder how good is the Skins offense. Would they have lost 3 in a row if was a decent team defensivley, not the Lions?

I agree with the first part. If we're the only team to beat dallas and they go 14-2 they still win the division, so we need them to rack up a couple of extra losses.

But I don't agree with your second paragraph. You guys were quick to defend your record against people who said you only beat crappy teams because you have to play whoever is on your schedule. You can't start saying crap like "would they have lost 3 in a row if was a decent team defensivley, not the Lions" because the fact of the matter is that we did play the lions. There is no logic in that kind of thinking.
I have to wonder what your record would be if you didn't have romo, owens, barber, and witten. You may have lost 6 in a row!

LOL, take it easy, I was just wondering. I say that because it must be frustrating having such a good D and be crippled with the kind of offense that took the field yesterday. I was merely asking, was it the Lions having a bad D or the Redskins offense was actually that good? Did they improve from the second half against the Giants to what they were against the Lions and then got worse yesterday? Or have they been the same and the Lions game was, well, the Lions being the Lions?
