For those that missed it, Lloyd said that in "true two-minute situations" Jason calls his own plays, without any input from the coaches. And I imagine, it may not be limited to just those situations. Anyhow, I understand that this is probably in large part due to the fact that you want quick decisions during a two-minute drill and communication from sideline to QB could slow things down, but I thought it was pretty interesting to note that JC is being entrusted to call his own plays. I also thought it was much more interesting that, when talking about Moss, he said the players are behind him "no matter what coach says bad things about him." What coach has said anything bad about Moss?

Re: Lloyd Comments to the Junks
What would Lloyd know about who is gay? He must be in denial or hiding himself!!!! Hahahahahahaha!!!!! The guy needs to shut the hell up. The Aikmen gay thing is really old and who cares. Brandon is doing this shit to deflect the fact that he is as useless as a wet sock. Gibbs could sign any one of us up to take his roster spot and at least we would give it our all. Shit we might be able to haul in a pass once in awhile, which is a lot more than this shithead. Guy can't perform, but brings up old speculation from the 90's.

Re: Lloyd Comments to the Junks
did you hear the interview? you probably should hear it before bashing him. it was actually pretty funny and he was seriously ribbed into it. this is a "who cares" comment and honestly if you listen to him talke you may see it my way. if the players are caling the coaches up to get him in maybe he is being taken the wrong way. listen to the interviews and you tell me.

Re: Lloyd Comments to the Junks
i would be bashing him to if i did not hear the interviews but it is hard not to like the guy talk. he said all the right things to get me wanting to start really seeing him contribute. he seems like a real team guy contrary to what others think. listen to interviews

He will not be a Redskin after this year, and I am officially totally, completely, 100% done talking about him. He's a waste of my energy. --Attention Mods-- Next time I mention Lloyd, ban me for 3 months because I'll deserve it.

Re: Lloyd Comments to the Junks
don't you think a interview that took place today is worthy of discussion? i agree talking and producing are two different things but how can he produce on the sideline. when thrash, mCcardell, and caldwell are starting above him he has little chance to prove himself. if portis and taylor are actuall calling saunders telling him to get the ball to lloyd that says something. i welcome the ban, i onlhy post when i have something to say which is rare.

I'm just done talking about the same thing over and over again. I just don't get how people can rave about how great "team player X" is, then that player blows it by turning everyone off in an organization from the trainers to the players, then the people are won back by "team player X" saying "all the right things". If you want to know where someone is going, usually you can get a prediction by knowing where they've been. That's all I'm saying.

Re: Lloyd Comments to the Junks
Sure Lloyd gets open and then drops the ball.
![]() His knock in SF was he wasn't big on attention to detail, and it's been rumored that in his time here he hasn't exactly dedicated himself to the playbook and he doesn't run the sharpest of routes. Couple that with his week 1 non-hustle on that pick in the endzone (which he freely admits to not hustling) and the guy just hasn't earned his playing time. I'm always amazed at those that continue to stick up for this guy. Why is it always someone else's fault?? Brunell has been on the bench since the middle of last season, so let's stop with that tired excuse already. |

Re: Lloyd Comments to the Junks
I'm not sure what is going on with Lloyd and the offensive coaches. He may be a little bit of a dickhead. But we need this guy right now. I just think that he needs to get a few balls, have a breakout game and all this crap will be forgotten.

Re: Lloyd Comments to the Junks
I think the idea that Lloyd is a great (or even better than mediocre) receiver who we're simply letting languish on our bench because he's offended Joe's Puritan sense of decency is maybe one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard.
But, even if it were true, I think it takes guts and the kind of stature that Gibbs has to take that stand and keep that guy firmly in the doghouse until he puts his team first, sending a message to all the other knuckleheads in the lockerroom what has to happen if you want to be a starting Redskin. Not doing this, and letting the inmates run the asylum, is how a team can turn into, say, the Cincinnati Bengals. And this, from a guy I totally respect in Marvin Lewis, which makes it twice as painful. On the flip side, even though it cost them games, and even though I hate them as a team, I totally respect the Eagles for cutting TO loose at a time when they needed his skills most. But, really, arguing in favor of Brandon Lloyd at this point is kind of like arguing that dogshit doesn't really taste as bad as you might think. You might be right, but you sure as hell aren't going to get me to come over to your way of thinking, and most people intuitively recognize that you're dead wrong.
