You realize that Sean Taylor is out for at least 2 weeks and perhaps a month or more, right? I really think that we are going to realize just how much we miss him when teams start completing passes deep on us; something that has hardly happened this season.

I think he can do it in pregame. Maybe in the hallway or something. ST can hit harder than anyone, even when he's injured! I seriously hadn't heard that yet, that really sucks. Is Laron Landry still healthy, maybe he can do the deed.

I see I have been benched, what ever I've done wrong I apoligize for it. I consider myself a team player. I really don't want Romo injured, I don't like him, but I certainly don't want to ever see anyone intentionally injured.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Taylor in the lineup after this week.

Arrogant? Maybe. Overrated? Not so sure. He is winning games and he is getting credit for it and takes his share of the blame.

As for keys to the game, and here is a Cowboys fan giving the Redskins the answer key, is the Skins offense, not defense. I personally think it comes down to, can the Skins keep up? The Cowboys will score, they scored 27 on what most think is the best team in the NFL. Gibbs has to come out firing and hope he can win a shoot-out. Because w/out Taylor, Romo is going to have a good day.

I'm sure he's overrated! It will be proven as so as the season continues to progress. I hate T.O. but I hope he gives Romo a verbal faceslap like he did to Garcia and McNabb at somepoint in the near future.

the key to this dallas game is our defense. most of the season we have let our front try to rush and every once in a while we mix in a blitz. you cant give romo alot of time to throw the ball and he can also use his legs if he needs to. taylor being out will hurt us. if he was back there we could blitz more. the cowboys will attack perison just like the eagles did when taylor went out. it will take a good game plan from the coaches and the players need to execute.

The one thing we've done is really set ourselves up well for the stretch run, as the line and running game have shown tremendous improvement as the season has progressed. We're still not breaking off many long gains or any big plays but we're getting there. We'll have to protect Campbell, maybe we can slip Portis behind Ware for some screens.

Taylor will be missed, he's a Pro Bowl caliber safety and once he went out the big plays returned. I think with a week of practice Prioleau and Doughty can do a serviceable job of eliminating the big play. If we can be physical, we can win. If Marcus comes back this week that will be a HUGE lift, Godfrey has been doing yeoman's work but getting hit in the hands and not coming up with the turnover is killing us because it lets the offense off the hook and we lose the momentum swing.

Its set up for us to win, because at 8-1 the Cowboys are going to be the fat cats and may overlook us. All in all, I like our chances.

No way the Cowboys overlook the Redskins. Biggest rivalry in the most competitive division in the NFC. C'mon, its Dallas/Washington week! Although sitting at 8-1 is very good, nothing takes away from the fact that 3 of the final 7 games are division games for Dallas.

Maybe, just maybe in week 17 when Dallas goes to FedEx that might happen. But ONLY if Dallas has already secured the #1 seed. Which if they do, they will rest most of the starters as to avoid injury prior to the playoffs. And Washington might need that win more than any other being the last game of the season and you could be on the edge of a wildcard.

But this is an afternoon game in a national TV spot and it is the first meeting of these two teams. Dallas will not get caught in the "trap".

Taylor's range would have been a big part of denying deep balls to the Cowboys this week. Now that he's out indefinitely, does anyone know whether Landry played any free safety at LSU? He's probably even faster than Taylor, so perhaps Williams might play Landry deep to take away the quick strike to Owens. Injuries to key starters (OL, Washington, Rogers, Taylor, Moss, etc.) are really taking a toll.

The only way the Redskins have a shot of beating the Cowboys is to be more physical than the Cowboys, create turnovers and get a couple of big plays from special teams. The Skins are out-manned and are in for a long day if they don't create some turnovers.

They're frustrating the crapola out of me right now though, because I just want to see them finish somebody like Gibbs' teams used to. I do think we have a chance against the Cowboys, and a formula that may work. I think the Cowboys' defense is soft. I just do. Roy Williams is pretty tough, but other than him, I think you can line up and if you bring the right team-wide attitude - ie I'm going to knock your effing teeth through your effing skull you blue-and-silver-wearing douchebag, and wipe that effing grin off your pretty-boy face you pansy ass excuse for a leader, attitude - then I think you can run run run and beat them into submission. This keeps the ball out of their hands, which we'll need to do because without Sean Taylor, Romo and TO and Witten are going to hurt us through the air plenty.

You just have to get mean. And I mean REALLY mean. If the Redskins want to talk about needing a killer instinct at the end of games, they better start by bringing a killer instinct at the beginning of the game. Making Dallas feel pain should be priority one, winning the game should be priority two. Not really, but I think you're smellin what I'm steppin in.

That's Dallas's only weakness. Romo can finesse it down the field real well. Their secondary can cover us pretty well. Ware can speed-rush his way to Campbell real well. Our only chance is to come out and take their spirit. There's only one way to overcome all these injuries... attitude.

You want a killer instinct, you better learn how to fight first.

The problem is that our running game always seems to go bye-bye against the 'Chips.

Little known stat: Against NFC East teams since he joined the Redskins, Clinton Portis averages only 76 yards a game against the 'Chips, Eagles and G-strings. And he's been held to less than 70 yards 8 times out of 18 games.

If there was ever a time Portis needed to carry this team on his shoulders, it's this weekend, when just about everybody else is on crutches.
