After some serious, in-depth analsis I have uncovered the 4 steps of Al Saunders' 2-minute drill:
1. Draw play up the middle. Be sure to burn at least 25 seconds and do NOT gain more than 4 or 5 yards. 2. Penalty. 3. Screen pass. Either drop the pass or make sure it doesn't go for more than 5 yards. Preferably go down in bounds in order to keep the clock running. 4. Punt. Leave the opponent a minute or more to score before the half.
