Should Ramsey Start Against Chicago?

Has Brunell done enough to justify starting?

I said this last week, start Ramsey.

Brunell hasn't looked comfortable in any games so far, he misses open receivers and is far too quick in throwing the ball instead of scrambling, hammy or not.

How long have I been saying that?

Where is all of the blame for Coles or the O Line? Where is everyone rushing to Brunell's defense this week? I want to know? What finally made it hit home that he sucks? Someone tell me because I've been telling you he was no good since we played Dallas.

And the tide is turning.

As I said last week, Ramsey is our future and Brunell should be the guy to tutor him. Brunell is the savy veteran who can help Ramsey see what he hasn't been able to.

Brunell had about a 40% completion percentage, threw for less than 100 yards, refuses to eat a hit for a completion, and has led us to 1-4. WHAT exactly does he need to do to get benched?

Ramsey isn't perfect, Ramsey isn't going to be our savior (this season), but he'll move the ball.

I would be against it a week ago, but now it should be given consideration. I still think a lot of you forget Ramsey's performance against the Giants. However, Gibbs likes to throw the longball and Ramsey does have a better arm. Ramsey will not be able to save this season though.

I think before we experiment with a new QB, we ought to experiment at starting right tackle...maybe Mark Wilson over Kenyatta and Ray. Too many tackles for loss and turnovers when we're attacked from the right side of the line.

I say use the Chicago game as the litmus test for QB. If Brunell can't do anything against the Bears, its time to sit him. Its not like we're rushing to the playoffs this year, or anything.

That's a good point, but I still respectfully disagree. If this guy's name wasn't Brunell his butt would've been yanked by now.

Maybe it is time for a change, but I'm still not going to pin all the blame on Brunell.

Alot of other guys are struggling right along with him, the entire offense is sputtering, it's not just Brunell.

I don't know if Ramsey would make much of a difference.

Might as well toss him in there so he stink up the joint and we can call for his head and beg for Hasslebeck.

I haven't forgotten Ramsey's performance against the G-men.

But, I haven't forgotten Brunell's performance in Week 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Brunell is NOT the one thing "off" with this offense. do not get it twisted. Ramsey has a TON to learn, and can stink up the joint just as bad if not worse. but since he's the qb of the future, i say get all out of him now. we have nothing to lose at this point.
