Re: Joe must stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah yeah. We all love him when we win and hate him when he calls 2 timeouts back to back.
We get it.

Never doubted him!! He can coach till he's 90 and toothless.

Re: Joe must stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At this point, even I'm supporting a comeback -- I don't think any coach should have immunity, but he was the perfect coach for the Taylor situation. I just hope we don't lose WIlliams, Blache, or Saunders.

Re: Joe must stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My colleague at work had stopped watching the games 'cause they were driving her crazy. After Sean's death, I told her that Joe was the best man to see the team through this. He and Snyder did a helluva job.

We have made the playoffs every other year under Gibbs. He is the truth.

Re: Joe must stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Despite my screen name I had doubts about Gibbs for the 1st time this season. What he and his staff have done since the tragic death of ST is why he is one of the greatest leaders of men in sports history. I dont know that he should coach as long as he wants but any franchise with Gibbs involved will be a class organization.
Nice seeing Coach Gibbs smile at then end of todays game. It's been a long bumpy and tragic ride this season yet Gibbs has somehow kept this group together and focused. Just about everything that could go wrong did this season. Yet the Skin's are right where they want to be, heading into the playoffs on a roll. One thing that is undeniable about Gibbs is that he knows how to win in December/January and always has. I'd love to see him stay on running the football side of the organization after he leaves the sidelines. |

Re: Joe must stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gibbs is a good coach no doubt about it. And I was in the minority of people who didn't like Gibbs 2.0. I still don't like Gibbs 2.0... BUT if Gibbs could continue to alter the way he ran his offense like he did the last 3 games of the season, I would completely back Gibbs 100%. So I'm hoping that whatever change has happened to this team over the past few games is a permanent change. And if so, then Gibbs 2.0 has got itself another supporter.

Re: Joe must stay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We have very similar views of Gibbs, and I got to agree. I'll question his play calling and this that and the other all day.....but as far as getting guys to rally in a terrible situation, there maybe none greater....this was an incredible one....so much better than 2005 to me given all that has happened....this is such a storybook season no matter what happens now
