Funny, just yesterday Skinsguy was asking what changes might be coming to the Warpath. Well, I guess it's time to announce our new motto. No longer is it "Redskins Discussion for the Knowlegeable Fan" now it's...

"IF ONLY HALF OF YOU SON-OF-A-BITCHES WOULD JUST MOVE TO EXTREMESKINS.COM IT WOULD MAKE THIS PLACE A BETTER FORUM TO POST IN."

DC area Pukes fans have either really stupid reasons for rooting for them or they are total bandwagons.

What's the lamest excuse that you have heard?

The one I hear is that they are tired of hearing about the Redskins, well if they lived in Dallas would they root for the Redskins because they are tired of hearing about the Cowboys?

Definate bandwagoneers.... There is definately more Cowpuke fans up here than Skins fans... at least to my knowledge... Just watch and see how many Patriots fans pop up around your area(s) especially if they win the Super Bowl. I've already noticed at least a 1/2 dozen NEW Pats stickers on the cars in the parking lot at work (there is about 500 cars in the lot)

What are you hanging out in Dallas Cowboy theme bars? I live close to that area and know maybe 3 to 4 diehard Dallas fans. Now before this past Sunday I saw flags hanging in yards and cars, Dallas hats and jersey's all over the place. After Sunday I cannot recall but seeing one Dallas thing. I think they slid those hats and jerseys back in their drawers for a couple of seasons and snuck out after dark Sunday night and removed all that Dallas stuff from their yards and cars.

Living here in the area i notice when you go into a sports store here you can buy all kinds of Dallas stuff but when i went to Dallas on a business trip, there was no Skins stuff in any of the stores. They had other teams but no Skins. I think its bad sportmanship and shallow. They really are scared down there....lol

I am flying through From San Jose Costa Rica back to BWI next week, via Dallas.

I have already packed my Redskins Polo shirt, just to make a statement as I go through the airport and hang out in the first class lounge.

My dad would laugh his ass off, if he were alive.

I must give the 'boys respect points for all the goodwill regarding ST this year. They were still wearing '21's' on their helmets last week.

speaking as someone who grew up in MD/DC/VA (lived in all 3) and currently live 20 mins. outside of dallas there are 100 times as many cowboys fans up there as there are redskins fans down here. I remember it used to piss me off when i lived up there, and since i moved down here 3 years ago, ONE person has come up to me while im wearing any of my skins gear and he was born in dallas. But he was funny he just walked up and asked me if I would shake his hand bc. it had been a long time since he had seen anyone with class! most of the time its shitty looks or comments. But really almost all of them are just fair weather fans who ride high when they are doing good and who just ignore them when they arent doing well, unlike us who are strapped in tight to the emotional rollercoaster!

...my girlfriend is a diehard 'Boys fan, and she has NEVER been to Dallas or a Cowboys game at Texas Stadium...her reason for liking them?...a long time ago, she was dating a guy who was really into football, and during a game she just "picked" the Cowboys and rooted for them...apparently, they won the game and she has been a fan ever since...

...unbelievable, says I...she lives here and doesn't support her team...but I love watching football with her, because we can get some good smack-talk going...funny, she was already talking about weather conditions in Arizona (for the Superbowl) on Sunday morning, and I was like, "Woman, you haven't even won the divisional or championship yet - pump your brakes!"...

...we didn't watch the game together, and after that loss I didn't hear from her until Tuesday...

Little Eli and his Giants spanked Romo and the 'Boys.

At home.

In the playoffs.

Ouch.

...it's gonna take years to wash that taste out of their mouths!...

...and all I say to 'Boys fans after that embarrassing meltdown on Sunday is: LMFAO!...
